I called it, but amazed it happened just weeks after the election... Shameless these pols!

But the real evil is in the details! The State wants those who drove, pay taxes, fees, tolls already, to pay for those who don't use the roadways! Wants those drivers to bail out the MTA commuter rail! Totally dismissing the inefficiency and wasteful adminstration and management of the MTA Capital Program! Make up for the lack of enforcement on fare beaters! It's a joke!

Joke is on those living in this nonsense!

Years ago the State did the same thing and across the board imposed a new fee structure in registrations to pay for Bridge work, even if you never crossed a bridge or used a tunnel. Funny thing is they're mostly tolled roads to begin with... But hey!

This State is absolutely amazing how deep they keep sticking their arms into your pockets, way past their elbows, that's for sure!

A few more trips back b forth and I'm done here... And good riddance!

Getting out of New Yorkistan in 2018 (with the exception of my children still living there, and friends) was one of the best decisions made in my life for a host of reasons,- many of which are tied directly to NYS.

It was anything but easy as my feet were firmly planted in concrete. It was very financially painful, and emotionally gut wrenching, but in the end, it was the right decision. I had worked the same job for 40 years (as I watched NYS decline every damn day), and had owned and invested my heart and soul into two businesses. And I never even had a resume in my working career! Making the leap was emotionally terrifying. Kind of like leaping off a slowly sinking ship in the middle of the night to swim to a far off raft. Absolutely fucking terrifying.

But if I could do it, - you can too. GTFO, and leave New Yorkistan behind.

Fuck the high browed beaver toothed tyrant and all who do her bidding. Good riddance.

Apparently, many NYer's are more than okay with this; they continue to elected the same people.

Must be an overabundance of money that the tax payers have.

I just received an email about the prices today for some reason and it’s between $9 and $2.25 depending on if it’s peak time or not. This is per day so $9/day is a lot of money.
