The U.S. Air Force F-15E weapon systems officer has been recovered alive after ejecting over Iran yesterday, journalist Jack Murphy reports. He said the WSO was evading capture on the ground as Iranian forces searched the area, with a “massive firefight” reported at the recovery site. Murphy is a journalist and military commentator who previously served in U.S. Army Special Operations (including as a Green Beret). Sounds like there were multiple wounded on the PJ teams that were looking for the downed WSO and pilot. They took a shit ton of fire getting him out.

Can we all take a second to appreciate how courageous it is and how awesome they are at doing their jobs. It's absurdly hard and dangerous.

I'm having a drink to that right now for bringing home an American.

I hope they find the pilot as well alive or not and bring them home.

I hope they get all our soldiers home safe & sound real soon, then drop a big one on the way out and turn that shit-hole into glass.

Then after it cools off, go back over and carve out the large piece of glass into a statue of trump.

I would like to know what President Trump knows as far as what condition the Iranian Regime is really at, and who, if anybody, is totally in charge of things in Iran. I would really like to know what actual real-time info is being given to President Trump from the military, the CIA, and the Mossad.

We all have opinions, but at the same time, we don't have the info the insiders do.

It is being reported the weapons officer is injured but is safe and all rescue personnel are out of the theater

It's not all roses, there are injuries but everyone are in safe places.

There were leaks several hours ago. Key press personnel were briefed on the condition they held off on reporting until all our military was out of theater. Somebody leaked. I was seeing reports that matches the media reports several hours ago.

Fox News can confirm that the 2nd crew member of the downed F15E fighter jet has been rescued and he and the members of the rescue team that extracted him from behind enemy lines in Iran are all safely out of Iran. That according to two senior US officials and multiple well placed sources in the region. The Weapons Systems Officer ejected along with the pilot when their F15E Strike Eagle they were flying was struck Thursday night (early Friday local time) in southwest Iran.

"President Donald Trump has warned Iran that it has just 48 hours to make a deal to end the conflict or reopen the Strait of Hormuz, otherwise "all hell" will be unleashed upon them."


The fanatical religious 12th Imam terrorist cult won't make a deal, so it'll be interesting to see what happens when the 48 hours are up.

I do know this, unlike Obama, President Trump won't be dropping pallets of cash on them.

I sense a lot of doom in this thread, and I can certainly understand why.

But I think President Trump is different from the rest of the recent Presidential losers.
The Orange Man Good does not accept losing, his track record proves that.

When all is said and done, in the end, Iran is toast. The biggest state sponsor of terrorism will be a thing of the past. Fuel prices will come back down, probably lower than before the war.
The whole Middle East will probably settle down without the Iranian Regime Terrorists bullying the region and throwing their terrorism around.

And most importantly. America and the rest of the world will no longer have to be concerned about a nuclear-armed Islamic Death Cult that is all about the 12th Imam.

Everyone with a brain should know if that regime had a nuke, they would absolutely use it.

What happened to the so-called sleeper cells? You know the ones that were going to wipe out our power grid and all that kind of shit. If they were actually a thing, don't you think they would have struck by now? I predicted earlier in this thread that the sleeper cell thing is probably a bunch of shit, and it was. Humble brag.

The fact that some members here freaked out about Iran hitting California with a drone made me, well, lol.

They had multiple A10s dedicated for CAS for this mission. They also described a "heavy firefight". I'm not sure a firefight involving A10s could be anything else.

Would be really interested in knowing what the other sides casualties looked like.

They also had multiple C130s, but not sure if they were all cargo, or had some attack variants involved too. That's maybe the only aircraft anywhere that can deliver CAS better than an A10.

The last I saw, Central Command at McGill, the Pentegan, and Whitehouse all reported there was no heavy firefighting as early reports claimed. Those erroneous reports came from sources that observed the overwhelming cover fire and close air support provided during the rescue mission.

I can't talk to small crude sleeper cells (who could cause relatively small regional blackouts by taking out a substation, power plant, or transmission line which would have limited impact unless they were lucky with timing during a stressed over loaded grid where wider district would be impacted but much the system would remain up) since they would need a massive army of them nationwide, well coordinated, well planned, and well funded on an astronominal scale.

Cyber sleeper cells blacking out our nation are a think tank wet dream. I've been out of the business for a little while but our system is still so outdated and decentralized that widespread cyber risks fear mongers preach and sell ain't gonna happen. These mongers are clueless of the reality but could be prophetic if our grids are wrecklessly updated in the future.

Our grids biggest widespread vulerabibilites come from Mother nature where wide geological swaths would be hit by storms (hurricanes, ice, solar, etc). Theoretical EMP's impacts in reality are not accurately understood because of variables such as the blast energy distribution, unknown and substaintial self shelding of vulnerable equipment, and the inherent robustness of the antiquated equipment still in service throughout much of our systems and districts. My best guess is the doom and gloomers are off base (they are false experts soaking up money, are really clueless to the actual status, and full of shit) but could be right if a sequence of random issues align and the blasts have a shitload of golden BBs. Again, poorly executed modern upgrades with cheap ass centralized solid state equipment could make us much more vulnerable.

I am genuinely surprised there has not been any sleeper cell activity. I suppose this would be something of a last resort by the Iranians because the response would be significant (as if we haven't bombed them enough already). But there would be no going back should it occur. My guess is the regime still thinks it can just wait us out and doesn't want to do anything that would actually swing people in favor of boots on the ground. Like a terrorist attack with hundreds or thousands of casualties.

Then again, maybe the sleeper cell idea was just that. An idea, not a reality. I find it difficult to believe that once Biden opened the floodgates to illegal immigration for 4 years our adversaries didn't take advantage of that to hide spies or sleeper cells within the millions of illegals.
