BREAKING — Clashes between Basijis and U.S. special forces - There are many casualties among the Islamic Republic’s forces.
The U.S. Air Force F-15E weapon systems officer has been recovered alive after ejecting over Iran yesterday, journalist Jack Murphy reports. He said the WSO was evading capture on the ground as Iranian forces searched the area, with a “massive firefight” reported at the recovery site. Murphy is a journalist and military commentator who previously served in U.S. Army Special Operations (including as a Green Beret). Good news for once. F-15 WSO recovered alive. Was escaping and evading. Massive fire fight on tgt. Iranians were actively looking for him in the area.
Sounds like there were multiple wounded on the PJ teams that were looking for the downed WSO and pilot. They took a shit ton of fire getting him out.
Can we all take a second to appreciate how courageous it is and how awesome they are at doing their jobs. It's absurdly hard and dangerous.
I'm having a drink to that right now for bringing home an American.
I hope they find the pilot as well alive or not and bring them home.
