Puddle of Mudd Singer Wes Scantlin Arrested on Gun Charges
Puddle of Mudd Singer Wes Scantlin Arrested on Gun Charges
Thre is obviously more to this story.
They say there are other charges.
Also, trying to get on a plane with a bb gun, he obviously has mental issues.
Yeah, how dare that fucking deviant try and board public transport with his own property!Thre is obviously more to this story.

I think anybody could see the problem with bringing a bb gun on a plane........except drug addicts and children.Yeah, how dare that fucking deviant try and board public transport with his own property!
Sometimes this forum, man, just...![]()
I'm not a children!I think anybody could see the problem with bringing a bb gun on a plane........except drug addicts and children.
I think you could plausibly believe that air guns are not regulated or banned....
I think you could plausibly believe that air guns are not regulated or banned....
Its just being a sensible person.I'm not a children!
But seriously, I don't see the problem. I guess I'm just not conditioned to "know better."
Who was the victim again?
There is absolutely no reason for a grown man to have use for a toy gun on an airplane.
So the victim was...?Its just being a sensible person.
The same reason you dont yell fire in a movie theater.
A known drug addict/alcoholic taking a bb gun out on a crowded plane will cause issues.
If I saw a guy waving a gun around on a plane, I would literally beat him to death.
I know dozens of other men and woman that would take a gun brandishing in an enclosed space.....like a plane......very personal and take it upon themselves to neutralize the threat. Im not going to ask if its a real gun, Im going to crush him instantly.
Let me say that him being charged with a gun crime is a bit ridiculous but he could have caused real issues if allowed to board with a "toy" gun.....so, he needs to get it through his wet brain that he was wrong.
There is absolutely no reason for a grown man to have use for a toy gun on an airplane.
Why did he do it? Maybe shock value? making a point? too drugged to know why?
Who knows, but if you think that the possibility of this douche waving a "gun" around on a plane is not concerning, you are a different kind of person.
Agreed, Darth will argue senselessly about everything. Some people will argue about anything!![]()
That doesnt even make sense. So the victim was...?
And your justification for the " guns r bad " beating would be...? I was in the army, therefore guns are bad?
Different level of logic on that one.
Trust me, ive bern on this site long enough to know not many can reeducate me.1) What business is it of yours if he is NOT brandishing it, or otherwise acting in an inappropriate manner (and no, possession is NOT inappropriate!)
- nice article there. No mention on if it was in his pocket, his carry-on, his checked luggage, or stapled to his head. Nor what his behavior was at the time.
2) What if he felt threatened somehow, and wanted a way to defend himself that wouldn't also put the entire plane at risk? Regular firearms would punch through a fuselage and kill everyone, including the wielder.
3) What if he was taking it home to his kid and didn't know it was illegal?
I can think of plenty of reasons why a responsible adult would have a BB gun on an airplane. I don't subscribe to the false paranoia our current .gov inspires by the constant barrage of "guns are bad, m'kay". It is a person's behavior that keys me into whether or not they are a threat.
And seriously, whenever anyone says "there is no reason" or "you don't need" I get a powerful urge to re-educate them as to the truth of "Freedom". There is no one, other than myself, who "knows" what I do or do not 'need'. And no one, other than myself, who will say what I can or cannot do.
So, you believe wr should have no rules?1) What business is it of yours if he is NOT brandishing it, or otherwise acting in an inappropriate manner (and no, possession is NOT inappropriate!)

OMG what a douchefool he is! Lol, some of those are really dumb and bad.

Grimscale is right. So, you believe wr should have no rules?
If you read what I wrote you will see I said he shouldnt be charged with a gun crime. However, there were other charges that havent been made public yet.
Also, a regular gun will not kill everyone if fired through the fuselage. It will just make a hole....if it even penetrates.
However, most people believe what you said, that a gun shot on a plane will decompressionize the plane and blow a big hole and everyone will die.
So, this guy gets on the plane and starts waving it around. The passengers believe they are all going to be sucked out of the plane and die. What will they do? Most will attack the guy, now you have a problem.
They not allowing him on the plane prevents that scenario.
Like I said in my first post, there is more to the story.
Maybe he said he wanted to hijack the plane.
Maybe he pointed the gun at people in the airport.
Maybe he threatened to kill someone.
They say there are other charges.
If he was bringing it to a child, why not pack it in his luggage?
No offence but he was wrong on every point.Grimscale is right.
All those things you just listed are prohibited, no need to prohibit the gun as well.
Furthermore, not needing to justify your needs to the government isn't anarchy, it's liberty.
The government needs to justify its bans, as in "there is no other possible way to go besides the ban".
Your need, and ability to demonstrate it, is irrelevant.
And "somebody might" is not sufficient to justify a ban. Read up on "prior restraint" sometime.
You can't ban printing presses because somebody might print something false.
Yeh, he makes a fake bomb and puts it in his car so people wont steal it.OMG what a douchefool he is! Lol, some of those are really dumb and bad.
