I was only commenting on when he said only he can tell him what to do.
I never, ever said he needed to prove he neeeded anything.
My comment was why the guy personally would "need" to bring a bb gun on a plane. What goes through a guys head when he thinks, "hey, I should bring this bb gun on the plane."
If you paid attention I have always been a supporter of individuals rights and always hate government intrution.

Just a little insight.
I live in PA.
I have a Repeal the SafeAct sign in my yard.
I do not own, have never owned and may never own a MSR.
I can pass any background checks, have great doctors and im not mental.
The SafeAct would most likely never be more than an inconvenience to me.
So why do I have the signs, sign all repeal petitions, write and call senators and councilmen and go to rallies?
Because in most cases I dislike the government and believe vehemently in small government and individuals rights.

Not only TSA but the major airlines ive looked into say bb guns are fine to fly with in checked baggage. None allow bb guns on your person or carry ons. Those are rules, not laws.
This guy also had 2 outstanding warrents and has violent felonies including domestic assault on his record.

Ha, you cant even bring a large dog on a plane no matter how many seats you buy, unless its a service dog. A couple airlines allow small dogs as carry on but most don't.
Dangerous animals are not allowed on any plane, including in cargo.

I can think of plenty of reasons why a responsible adult would have a BB gun on an airplane. I don't subscribe to the false paranoia our current .gov inspires by the constant barrage of "guns are bad, m'kay". It is a person's behavior that keys me into whether or not they are a threat.
