You mean a "scarlet letter," right?Brand them with a big capital ' C ' - on their forehead - for 'Chester Molester'. Then they can do away with the registry.

Because child molestation will be illegal some day. With all the liberals and muslims in the USA you mark my words it will be legal. It's happened before just read the Bible. I know you'll say that will never happen this guys crazy, but it will. Will I be dead before it happens maybe maybe not. the way they passed gay marriage opens up just about anything.Came someone remind me why we don't want a registry of child molesters, yet we want to make a public registry of every law abiding gun owner in this state (so they can be likely robbed by criminals)? Right, because there's not a reason. It's just madness.
I only want one list of criminals, the list of the ones behind bars.Next you know any criminal list will be illegal. This is absurd. We need to know who to watch out for other than those in political Office that have a D by their name.
If on a condition of release THEY agree to it instead of staying incarcerated for life, then I have no issue.100% of the time, in regards to these fucking scum, part of the sentence is a lifetime on the registry. No different than probation. On a plea deal, these low life dirt bags agree to it.
So, you're Ok letting these guys out as long as they promise to tell you where they are ?If on a condition of release THEY agree to it instead of staying incarcerated for life, then I have no issue.
Not really but if the state says they are rehabilitated and they agree to it.... I'm not for them being rehabilitated and forced into it.So, you're Ok letting these guys out as long as they promise to tell you where they are ?
Lists do nothing to protect the public, if you can't trust them without the list, then you can't trust them with it either.
My concern is that we are letting people out that we admit we can't trust. Not really but if the state says they are rehabilitated and they agree to it.... I'm not for them being rehabilitated and forced into it.
In other news...The mandatory registration of all privately owned, legally-obtained, background-checked, firearms will be found completely constitutional.Judge Finds Colorado Sex Offender Registry Unconstitutional
DENVER (CBS4)– A federal court judge in Denver has called the public sex offender registry in Colorado “cruel and unusual punishment.”

I agree and hereby reverse my stance. My concern is that we are letting people out that we admit we can't trust.
If you want the guy on a list, then you don't want him out at all. The list does nothing to deter him, or protect anyone.
And it sets the dangerous precident of the government making lists of people as "less than full citizens"
I applaud her decision. If someone paid a debt to society, he or she is supposed to be just like you and I with all rights restored.![]()
