That's great! The most beautiful trapping partner and I threw a dozen dp's out after work today. Hopefully pick a few coons up with the warm weather.

I am sure you are correct. Today I tried a trappers cap to allow me to much more firmly bed. Traps set at 2lbs are like handling nitroglycerine, so I never bed them good until now. Hopefully get my first fox or yote in next few days. Thanks again for all the help.dig ups are usually b/c there is odor on the trap, or it isn't bedded solid and they felt it rock when they stepped on the jaws or levers. Try bedding them more solid if possible.
YouTube there's another one can't remember name of show but very educational!I don't have cable but have herd it's a great show.
Nice! Two dp traps? What was bait?Another possibility is freeze/ thaw weather caused it to fire. I've had it happen.
Picked up a double on coon this morning.

Thank you. Fur still prime? It was a flat set bedded in peatmoss. I used a small rock as a backing with some urine and scattered some cat food up at the backing and in front of where the trap was bedded.
Yes, all three on DPs. I have yet to get anything on the MB550s.They den up with weather and when they come out to feed you have to be ready....All 3 on dp's?
