Hillary Clinton and Andrew Cuomo Campaign for Bill Allowing Abortions Up to Birth | LifeNews.com
Can we go back in time and abort Tweedledee and Tweedledum?
Can we go back in time and abort Tweedledee and Tweedledum?
Well this was brought up at other times and has been on Clinton’s to do list for sometime now. Not saying it’s accurate, but why don’t we just look it up instead of discounting it.I am just going to assume that a website called "lifenews" isn't accurately reporting the content of this bill.
Very risqué, but can’t say I completely disagreeWell at the extreme risk of being unpopular, again given the demographics of who gets abortions, and their eventual statistically likely party registration, and my belief in personal Liberty, I say let it rip, at 320+ million the US is not running out of people.
Kinda late but someone should have aborted them from the get go
Absolutely. Considering abortion kills about 900,000 and dr mistakes kill another 250,000. Dr’s kill 1.1 million people per year and not one peep from any politician about the 250,000 mistakes drs make. A slight peep about the abortions. This is awful and barbaric. In the eyes of these extreme far left progressive statists, the unborn's only crime is not being able to vote. They don't care the slightest about life. All they care about is power and who can or can't vote.
I’m against abortion,
There are much better ways of preventing pregnancy.

Happens all the time doc. They misdiagnose and tests are false positives all the time.A girl who used to work for me was told to abort her baby due to a genetic condition they felt the baby had. They told her the child would have birth defects with a very poor life expectancy due to what they saw in their ultrasounds and other tests. There was some physical tissue/fluid formation consistent with a genetic condition. She was devastated. She went for a second opinion and decided to wait and see. Her body reabsorbed the anomaly on the baby and she gave birth to a perfectly healthy normal boy. Just sayin'.
I understand rape and incest. I also understand if the mothers life is in danger. I’d have to say though those are a very small fraction of the abortions. Some stats say 1%. The cdc data backs this up. Most abortions are women in thier 20’s and early trimesters. Those would indicate to me that they abortions of connivence not necessity. Then don't have one.
This is true. But not all abortions are done because they want to ride bareback without consequences.
Fetal abnormalities
Legit issues with the mother's health ("I don' wanna do this" isn't a health issue, it's a responsibility issue)
Incest
Rape
That being said, and to use a phrase out of the Democrat's playbook of "compromise", I always felt the following would be an acceptable compromise on abortion:
1) First trimester - anything goes. And yes, that means that a woman can risk her life, health, and paycheck to get an expensive medical procedure rather than just buying a box of condoms. Rape and Incest would usually fall within this category (there are always exceptions). Think about it... this is saying you have THREE MONTHS to decide if you want to keep it.
2) Second trimester - health, abnormalities, etc. only. This would require two doctors to sign off on the need. some birth defects do show up later in the gestational period, but these can be proven by *gasp* SCIENCE. If a woman spent three months vacillating as to whether or not to keep it, she's irresponsible.
3) Third trimester - There had better be a DAMNED good reason, like the mother is about to DIE on the fucking exam table right fucking now. once you're into the third trimester there is a good chance the fetus could survive being born early. The woman has already gone through SIX MONTHS of pregnancy. Just finish the damned job and adopt it out.
The problem is...all of these levels would require some personal responsibility by the mother (and father...can't forget the sperm donor). It seems like personal responsibility is one thing that is sadly lacking from society today.
Gun owners have had to "compromise" for decades. We haven't liked it, but there it is. We've also been more likely to be personally responsible.
Yet Trumps an asshole for not signing the budget over the wall. One saves lives the other ends it.
