Take a good look at these people, they are not rich, but they are well fed and, having spent time in small remote villages in Kenya and Ethiopia, they have remarkably untattered and clean clothing.

How did poor people from landlocked African countries (both of the Congos) get to Mexico?

Why aren't they from coastal African countries, like Senegal?

Isn't there a continuing Ebola outbreak in Kivu province of the DRC? Why yes there is!

IMHO, the answer is simple - this is sponsored, and the area they were selected from was purposeful.

Sure North Kivu province borders Uganda and Rwanda. In a situation like this border control would be draconian, even by African standards. Port and airport security at international airports is strict.

There is no way hordes of supposedly dirt poor people can simply swim across the ocean or walk hundreds of miles without significant support every step of the way. This is an invasion pure and simple. Who is funding this? After a patient presents with symptoms, they are infectious, and the virus is infectious until well after death.

Even if one "recovers", they become a carrier of sorts, and the virus is in some bodily fluids, allowing infection through direct contact.

I have to disagree - Ebola is extremely infectious, it is a relatively hardy virus and the US population is largely naive to Ebola, and other filiviruses such as Marburg. People living in endemic areas most likely have been exposed to Ebola in small amounts, and have some immune response, or have been selected for by Ebola pressure and have more robust innate immune systems.

Ebola is extremely deadly, and other hemorrhagic viruses like Marburg are similarly deadly.
