It has come to light that the moderator for the next debate used to work for Biden in some capacity and also tweeted “never Trump” type comments back in 2016. There are also pictures of the two together. It seems the fix is in. He will be debating 2 on 1 again. Unbelievable.

I've always thought this should be the way to do it:
Give each candidate one night (1-3 hours or whatever time they agree upon) to give a presentation (verbal, PowerPoint, however they want to do it) on the issues and what their administration's stance is and what they plan to do.
Then do something similar to what you propose where they are able to rebut one another in a formal manner.
It's not perfect but at least it will allow substantive information out there instead of mud-slinging pissing matches which most national debates seem to have devolved into.

I find it curious how many Americans look to these debates in the terms of Winners and Losers. The MSM has convinced the people that this is what these debates are about and what they should be about.
Debates are not supposed to be about winners and losers. But, like I said, the American people have been duped to believe that is all that is important. Debates are for the people, not the candidates. The American people lost in this debate.
