    Sig 365 or 365xl

Quick vid showing it works either way.

    Sig 365 or 365xl

You can use the 365 grip with an xl slide, and the xl grip with a 365 slide. I have been thinking of getting an xl grip for mine now that we can get factory 10 rounders for them. Agreed mag prices are a bit crazy. The grip on these is about as small as I feel comfortable with, the xl would be...

    CMMG 22LR Dedicated AR Build

That looks pretty damn nice! As for sights, I have had decent luck with utg flip up sights of all things. They are cheap and I really was just looking for a placeholder in case an optic fails. I have a cheap vortex on my build, strike eagle 3x9 I think? Not happy with it though.

    CMMG 22LR Dedicated AR Build

FRB, any handguard will work. I have an Odinworks on mine as I was looking for light weight, but thinking of making it the same as my 556 build. No clearance issues to worry about with any guards since no gas block. I think you will really like that setup. I have a grab bag of ammo my mark...

    CMMG 22LR Dedicated AR Build

I've also heard people installing the gas block backwards if you truly intend to run it dedicated.

    CMMG 22LR Dedicated AR Build

Not to late, although dedicated 22 barrels are scarce at the moment. I have a 20" cmmg that has decent accuracy and stellar reliability. Much better than when I was running the conversion in a 556 upper.

    CMMG 22LR Dedicated AR Build

If you are going dedicated upper, right to bear has slick sides in stock. Dedicated 22lr barrel, a new collet for your bcg, and a handguard you will be go. I did one and don't regret it one bit. Bonus whatever sights you use can be POA/poi for 22, it will be more accurate, and you don't need...

    Building a featureless AR

Congrats! Looks good. Can't wait to hear back after you get that glass mounted and sighted in. I just assembled my first upper last weekend, the suspense to get to the range is killing me, hang in there.

    Building a featureless AR

Ugh, Seekins is nice, but I have never bought into the billet is better crowd. The only benefit I see is the 2 problematic areas assembling a lower are already addressed (trigger guard and bolt catch). Still, you could buy and complete a couple forged lowers for that price. Anderson for the...

Looking for a good soft shooting 9mm

Head out to the Firing Pin in Bergen when they get the range open again. They have an awesome selection of rentals. I think the Beretta px4 storm is worth a look. You can really clean up the trigger on them down the road to if she likes it. Otherwise the M&P 380 or 9 EZ may be good options...

    Building a featureless AR

Awesome. I wouldn't even sweat the lower from BA. AR 15 lowers are all compatible. Here is an Aero(who owns BA now) lower in stock and ready to ship. These have the tensioning screw for upper/lower fit. They also have the enhanced version available that has a built in trigger guard For a...

    Carbine length gas system

Since you currently have a choice, I would look to go mid length. Shoots a little softer. Most of us aren't going to shoot enough to have long term reliability issues with carbine lengthn systems anyway. If you do, then the cost of a new barrel/gas system won't be a bitter pill to swallow...

    Glock 26 vs Sig P365

So I have a vp9sk which is close enough to a 26 in size, and the 365. I shoot the vp better under stress, but the 365 carries so well it gets the call in tshirt weather. Actually, I carry it all year. I would really love it for Sig to release some 10 rounders for the xl grip. That would make...

    Building a featureless AR

The Tipton should work. I have always used an old 2x4 and the floor to assemble mine. Support the ears for the trigger guard, install that first. A little oil on the roll pin and I use a pair of pliers to gently collapse one end to help it get started. My punches are all metal, so I wrap the...
