"I know many armies that have come to Russia. But I know of none who have ever returned." - Otto von Bismarck
Only due to the Winter. Nothing more"I know many armies that have come to Russia. But I know of none who have ever returned." - Otto von Bismarck
Ah, You know the Russians had to fight in the winter too.Only due to the Winter. Nothing more
The ruskies were ready, trained and prepared for it because they live in cold shit.Ah, You know the Russians had to fight in the winter too.
So you think the Germans would have won if they brought coats and gloves? what about the second winter? Probably had nothing to do with a nearly 3000 mile front from North to South , Allied bombings in the rear, Partistans cutting supply routes , the threat of invasion .The ruskies were ready, trained and prepared for it because they live in cold shit.
Pretty amazing that a relatively small country could hold on for so long. God bless them all! Well, not Zelenski.

He needs to go. He can't make any concessions, because they could have had a better deal in March of 2022, so hundreds of thousands that died since then, died for nothing. It was his decision. He should have served his nation and his people, not Boris Johnson.
Russians are claiming 30 High ranking NATO officers are trapped in/or near Kursk .
Trump asked Putin to not kill the soldiers in the Kursk pocket, Hmmmmmmmmm. Could be somethin to it.
Their track record shows that trying to let them deal with their own mess just makes the mess bigger.I really think the britts and frogs are the ones steering him into destruction.
There is some seriously messed up diplomacy and "guidance" occurring behind closed doors. They are using Ukrainian blood to fight Russia for them.
Meanwhile there are now stories that Europe is going to be massively increasing their military spending and talking openly about conscription.
Not good at all.
Look at the stock price of Rheinmetal in the past 6 months. Shocking. What does that tell you?

European nations debate a return to conscription amid Trump turnaround on Russia
Spurred by the war in Ukraine and the prospect of US disengagement, European countries are debating a return to compulsory military service to counter Russian expansionism. Lithuania, Sweden and Latvia…www.france24.com
Europe is preparing for war.
Let's sit this one out.
F- no.
You guys made this mess it's on you to clean it up.
Their track record shows that trying to let them deal with their own mess just makes the mess bigger.
We'll eventually get dragged into it anyway, it'll just be a bigger shit show when we do.
Because, if Russia conquered Europe, they would take a decade to consolidate and then would start looking at us.I'm not so sure that applies anymore in 2025 with intercontinental missiles and bombers, cyber attacks, stealth, etc.
Even if somehow Russia subjegated all of Europe why would necessarily "have to do something"? Based on modern technology there is nearly instant global reach. This isn't the 1910s or 1930/40s anymore. We don't need to be in Europe to deter Russia. I don't want to be. Im not willing to risk a million American boys fighting a war that some assholes started that we can and should sit out.
Because, if Russia conquered Europe, they would take a decade to consolidate and then would start looking at us.
And then we would need to deal with a Russia that had all fo Europe's resources too.
You're thinking is "let them have Georgia, why do we want to deal with it".
Then "let them have Crimea, why should we deal with it".
Because they will *never* stop with Crimea.
The other option is to let Germany re-arm fully and then take Russia themselves. That really *really* sounds like a bad idea.
American interests are served *far* better by us being the only game that matters militarily. The only way to maintain that status is to make sure nobody else thinks it's in their interests to build up themselves.
Yea, I think it's likely that Europe would fully re-arm and they would conquer Russia if that fight happened.I disagree. Russia has 0.0 % chance of invading the US. They are not a threat. I have no problem if we let them run Eastern Europe/west Asia how they want. Let them grow stronger and give China something else to worry about on the back side.
There is no logical reason to assume Russia is destined to be our enemy unless we create the conditions for a self fulfilling prophecy.
Yea, I think it's likely that Europe would fully re-arm and they would conquer Russia if that fight happened.
But I think we don't want them speaking German in Moscow any more than we want them speaking Russian in Berlin and Paris.
And we really *really* don't want the Chinese to come in after both sides are weakened from that fight and take the whole continent.
I think everyone is in favor of a peace agreement now.Which is why I am in favor of a peace agreement now.
