Quick update, called the clerk and was told that it has been signed off by the detective and the captain and is now with the commissioner. The women told me to call back after Thanksgiving.
That's what I've been reading. But like I posted earlier, if that is the case, for the life of me I can't understand why they wouldn't have told me that when I was at the counter handing in my money and form. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Makes no sense to me either! Worse part is, my Wilson Combat EDC X9 is sitting with my FFL and I can't submit my paperwork for that until this is over, which is a whole other story! SMH
