You would be surprised. Mainly due to the fact of price points. I know it is especially popular in the Walther MP5-22 becuase at first release there wasn't a lot out for it, and it was expensive. Lots of people would use Tokoyo Mauri or similar higher end airsoft brands (and yes cheap knock...
Yes, it is possible depending on the manufacturer of both airsoft and real steel. However, be careful as many lower end airsoft use cheap plastic and NO heat shield. IMHO I would spend the few bucks and get a true set to be safe.
Agreed. It really isn't that much of a concern as long as your not an idiot. How many people blow there hand off "cleaning" a handgun? Don't let one idiot ruin it for everyone. I've put a few thousand rounds down range with no grip and no issues. Be aware of what you are doing.
Couldn't agree more. Carrying a gun isn't an excuse to be an asshole and start fights with everyone. It's a tool to make sure you get home everyday. Be smart about it.
@GOPerfect nailed it. Exactly what he said. My only thing to add is, get very comfortable with the gun you are carrying. Spend lots of time shooting it, practicing malfunctions, off hand shooting, anything you can. Just becuase you buy a gun doesn't mean you should carry it. I put any gun I...
Or he handled it like wimp. (I won't insult @swilliams by saying woman lol)
I shot my buddy's ksg before I bought mine and I will say it you don't rack it like you mean it it does seem to jam. I have shot it like any other shotgun and never had a single hiccup.
Great read, it's easy to get caught up. But I agree, WE ALL need to help each other, better each other, it's up to us to keep people informed when we have the opportunity.
Another reason why I love this forum, a lot less bickering and a lot of fantastic people with a wealth of knowledge. Just a...
You "safely" fired a round into the air? OK, where did that round land? How do you know it was safe? In what context can you ever say a round fired into the air is "safe"? Second, if they were getting into their vehicle, they are no longer a threat. Once they are out of that door, let em go...
I have one! I love it but yes it does get pricey to shoot. But down here I have a couple 1000+ ranges not to mention private land to shoot it on. Beats the hell out of shorting my .50 price wise tho lol. Either one is a blast, and well worth it if you have the range.

I like the fostech trigger system over the binary as well, however IMHO this is still far away from "full auto". I would like to pick one up to play with just out of curiosity, but it's a lot of money to drop on a trigger system alone.
