I came across this Colt at the LGS. They gave me a great deal on it and I thought it would be a fun little project, clean bore and nice action. It most certainly isn’t new but it was a good time.
After some love, it’s a pretty good shooter and a good experience.
So, from this chat, I would recommend anything from a 1” to a 20” barrel, hi point to a Dan Wesson, single shot to a 100 round drum, easy take down to 47 hour take down, old or new.
Anything in between there and you will just fine!
For my 22, I went with hobby grade. Burris Fastfire 3 and it has been pretty damn good. The dot brightness settings are fairly limited but it has worked well for me.
Looking for people’s take on the Benelli M4. Anyone have one? What are pros and cons that you have found? Is it worth the price tag? Any insight will be welcomed!
I had it cut specifically for the RMR . I don’t notice a huge difference honestly, it’s slight. The combination of everything on the gun has been great though. I am really enjoying it. It ran extremely well for my class on Sunday.
Black G45. Lawyer could say, you have a death laser on top, oh my god you have a grippy thing to make you shoot and have more control!!
At this point in NYS, if you use a firearm to PROTECT yourself it doesn’t matter what it looks like.
I expected this type of reply.
My guns are locked up. No kids.
I don’t carry the orange one. No lawyer.
However, I could carry a out out the box G45 and if god forbid I ever had to use it a lawyer would still have a fuckin problem.
Had a extra G45 kickn around, sent it out for a rmr cut and a port job to Monsoon Tactical. Got this monstrosity back today. Gonna try the monsoon lucky sevens vs the radian ram jet and afterburner. We shall see.
Not to be a douche but that is the same premise for “traditional” sights. If you can’t keep the front post sight in view, you have to still bring it back. Only difference is you don’t have to line up front and rear sights for follow ups, unlike a dot.
I couldn’t get it! I took the 03 Springfield out for the first shoot with some reloads and the wind was blowing like a mad man. I got cold as shit then decided to try shooting the challenge. Poor decision, excuses excuses. Oh well.
I have abit of mini mags, however, if they intend on one type of ammunition to function flawlessly through their firearms they should put that in their advertising.
So, after following the fedex guy down the street because he didn’t wait. I received the Sig today. Work completed is listed below. Shot 50 rounds of the problematic Aguila and had 3 failures. The 3 failures went bam when I tried them again. I’m content with this. Time to find a dot for it.
