So I go to purchase a pistol at Runnings. In order to fill out the 4473, I have to have a government ID with my full name including middle name. Well my NYS drivers license has a middle initial and so does my NYS pistol permit. I was informed that these do not qualify as “ID”. I have to go back...

Interesting turn of events recently. I went to pick up a pistol and filled out the form. Form asked for full middle name. My license only had an initial. FFL said to send him a picture of my passport with my middle name spelled out. He said ATF is cracking down. Never had a problem before.
