Fuck that noise. I'll mount a scope if I want. Install a new trigger if I want. Change the stock if I want.
I'm a 60 year old retiree, and an honorably discharged veteran. If it's my fate to be a political prisoner for the rest of my natural life because of insane and ridiculous laws like this...
Oh I knew it could happen, it's just risky business, an inside job lessens the risk.
I've known just about anything could happen when half of Kennedy's head fell off and hit the trunk lid of a Lincoln Continental in front of God and everybody.
Actually, I'd love to have the rifle I posted. 38-55 is a decent cartridge for deer and black bear. Bit of a rainbow trajectory @ distance, but known for excellent accuracy.
Buddy of mine has a Win 94 chambered for it, was his grandfather's.
I'd prob load smokeless, but it'd sure be fun to...
If so, risking a Federal charge with a very severe penalty, involving a Federal investigation, "They" must really be banking on a Biden victory this fall.
Horrible tragedy. As an aside, I note with some interest that SHE, a FEDERAL judge, wasn't killed. Murder's murder, but killing a Federal judge definitely would elevate the severity of the charges (Federal), the scope of the investigation, AND the severity of the penalty, likely the death...
I want to get a Ruger Blackhawk stainless in .357 mag, and a Ruger Single 10 so I'll have the complete stainless SA revolver set.
I want a stainless Mini 14 as a companion to the wife's Mini Thirty.
Me and the old man would always go thru the Kmart and other ads in the Sunday paper looking for sales on shotgun shells, slugs and .22's. Then make a list.
Edit: Lol, "bulk buying" was a box of bird shot, 2 boxes of rifled slugs, and 2-3 boxes of .22's each

In 1974, for my 14th birthday (at the time the earliest age you could hunt small game in NY with a firearm) I received a H&R Topper 20 ga single-shot...
Interesting! Please post as you progress. I've never actually done it, but considered and researched more than once. What ultimately stopped me was reloading the cases. Even with the proper reloading tools for handling black powder, safety is a little dicey.

That's pretty cool, and a real nice looking rifle.
Have you by chance read thru the appropriate section of "Cartridges of the World" to see what was once offered and get an idea of what interests you, versus what's actually available?
I'm assuming you're looking at a repro, seeing that authentic antique pieces are usually prohibitively expensive.
Camping in "The Adirondacks" covers a lot of territory. State Park? State Forest? State Land? Private Land? Wildlife Management Area? As has been stated, any type of NYS-controlled property requires review of that area's regulations, and of ANY questions, contact the Agency in charge.
That...
The good news: they do add those icons to an Enhanced Drivers license.
The bad: has to be a lifetime hunting/fishing/trapping license to add.
I'll never have an Empire passport, so the maple leaf is out. I do have the boater safety course under my belt, for the anchor icon, but I sold my...
I have an Enhanced Driver's License, close proximity to Canada, lots of Border Patrol here, for instant proof of American citizenship. Not sure of they put those on there.
Edit: I was able to add Veteran when I applied for it tho.
I took the Bowhunting course last summer. Mainly, so I could get the additional tag when I buy the Bowhunting stamp, which is also good for early crossbow and late muzzleloader.
Edit: additional tag when you buy BOTH the Bowhunting and muzzleloader stamps
