Just got my two builds back and they look great. Need to break away soon and get to the range with them. These were old school Romanian G kits with original pristine barrels FWIW all matching serials everywhere.
This was their in person price list, not sure if it has been updated.

i believe that today we will be harvesting the kiwis. Curious to see what we actually have on the vine as it’s taken many years to get to the point of being able to harvest. Hopefully photos to come later.
My plan was to use them for box opening, breaking down cardboard, etc. doing that well thus far. It stays open and closed well as it has rare earth magnets that lock the know open and closed. I don’t think I would want to do any serious processing with ithough.
the smaller one with the...
I have a pair of black powder revolvers that I purchased used a while ago but never shot. They are both Euroarms Roger & Spencer revolvers in .44 and quite beautiful. One of them has plum coloring on the frame. One has definitely been used and there is some rust present, but it seems like it...
Good sale going on at LAPG

Link is for the level 3, but if you can’t figure out how to find the level 4, well, maybe you shouldn’t be wearing them.
Got a new backpack for work
the feature I bought it for was its ability to do this
can hold these. Or soft if preferred. Sad that I thought that it may be a good add to work stuff
I’m willing to discuss this if they will also take up legislation requiring a 90% score on a test concerning a proof of understanding of the Constitution before being allowed to vote.
You aren’t going to find an AK for cheap. Guess it depends what cheap means though. For a solid AK I would personally budget 1k as a starting point.
as for the AR, piece together something from PSA. Just saw an email from them and you can piece together and upper and lower for $400 not...
What else would one get while traveling, but a bicycle. While killing time, found a shop who actually had what I was looking for in stock along with an extension for a stem. Wrasslin’ it into the back seat of the truck sucked.
It seems like the price of building an AR is approaching salad days costs yet again. Seen Toolcraft BCG for $85, full PSA kits well under $400 and hell, even high end stuff is reasonable (see LaRue’s complete uppers)
if you were one of those folks who bemoaned the “gouging and rapey“ prices of...
@Dunedain Ranger if I do my job, I expect a 20-30 year shelf life but it gets rotated out before that.
Here is a post I made a while back but stopped updating. that post was the basis of an article I submitted to Jim over at Survivalblog. It gets stored in Mylar bags with an O2 absorber added...
And IIRC, you also have one of the Harvest Rights and the best storage solution for the food I’ve found is the Mylar bags in those storage bins pictured above
@spat if you can find them in stock and research sealing methods, Mylar bags inside a 5 gallon pail is effective

if you happen to have an abundance of half gallon mason jars, those work as well for sugar and salt. Don’t need oxygen...
Nothing today sporting related, but rather associated with a previous part of my career when I lived and worked in Texas. Can’t find many shirts around these parts with pump jacks, derricks and mud rotary heads.
One of the better prices I’ve seen. $25 less than what they are asking for the other color options.

FWIW, we probably killed a dozen or so rattlesnakes when either gardening or walking the dog while we lived in S. Texas. Wifey had a dedicated gardening gun. J frame with snake shot.
Figured I’d try this on the off chance someone had one. I’m looking for an entry level mountain bike to ride with my wife. Must be for a tall guy (6’5”). Have cash, as well as trade fodder. Looking to keep it under a couple of hundred, otherwise I’d go with a new cannondale.
