As I mentioned in a previous post there are no more UPS Hubs (Service Centers) in the tri-state area.
UPS closed them all when they bought and rebranded the MBE stores.
If I sneak it through at a UPS store and it gets lost, stolen or destroyed I'm going to have a problem.
Besides, I understand...
Chris was the manager there.
He was great along with the rest of his crew.
Very friendly and never bothered you if you knew what you were doing.
Like I said in a previous post they are suppose to reopen in May.
Annual membership for Yonkers residents $300 and non residents $350.
Cheap compared...
Thanks, I have a Fedex account.
I was told you have to be an FFL to ship firearms since 2023.

Thanks, I know the owners at RT Smoke N Gun (Pioneer Shooting Center).
That's where I do my ammo transfers.
Unfortunately, they are in not a nice area of Mt. Vernon.
Not that I'm worried going back and forth to my car while carrying, but I am worried that I will have no car to return to.
C.B.
I sold a few handguns through Gun Brokers in the past.
I got top dollar and used "Ship My Gun" which only could be shipped through a UPS Service Center" to a receiving FFL.
There prices were very reasonable, $25-$30 to ship a handgun.
Today all the UPS Service Centers are closed since UPS bought...
Artemis Shooting Sports - What a surprise !
I stopped by yesterday afternoon to check it out.
I haven't been there since it first opened as Blue Line 10 years ago.
The staff was very knowledgeable and acted in a professional manor.
I met a very pleasant senior employee, instructor and RSO named...
I agree and I do, but the last couple of guns I bought were from the manufacturers websites at a discount.
I rather not show him I'm not buying the gun from him.
C.B.
Thanks, I checked their website and they get $30 an hour for walk ins.
On Tuesday over 60 is half price.
I'll have to stop by tomorrow and check it out.
C.B.
Anyone shoot at Artemis lately, any good ?
I visited there when it first opened as Blueline.
Ben the former owner was asking ridiculous prices for range memberships.
I remember he wanted $5,000 for a lifetime membership, I hope no one got in on that.
He was such a SOB that I was so turned off to...
My wife and mother-in-law insist on sitting in the last row on the center aisle by the door during mass.
My mother-in-law is stubborn although my wife is always aware of her surroundings.
I guess I should practice the El Presidente Drill more often.
C.B.
I know.
My brother use to be a FFL.
He had a gun store in Roscoe, NY, "Big Dog Arms"
He did well especially during the summer and in hunting season.
Unfortunately, Covid destroyed his business, he lost all of his transient trade.
C.B.
I may buy a handgun from Sig Sauer Custom Shop.
They are running Black Friday sales as much as 20% off.
All the gun stores in the Westchester area now charge $75 or $100.
What happened to the inexpensive firearm transfers?
Any one know of a place that is not as expensive?

Crazy, you'll probably never see one in NYS.

I think President Trump is correct in sending the National Guard in these cities.
Since the mayor and the police forces of these cities can't get a handle on it then
let a higher authority come in to help straighten it out or at least act as a deterrent.
I would ask the mayors of these cities...

Now I know why I am the way I am.

That's my take on it.
My post was not for educational purposes.
It was just some food for thought.
I also carried various guns and have many, Sig Sauer, Glock, Ruger etc.
C.B.
Most, but not all people have 2 main guns they use, one for the range and one for carry.
The range gun is bigger, easier to shoot and has a more manageable recoil.
The carry gun is smaller and easier to conceal.
Why not pick one gun that is big enough to shoot well and also small enough to...
I feel for you. I'm glad my boys are all finished with school.
Tell him to make friends with the good guys and also with the bad ones.
At all costs make no enemies.

Coyne Park Rifle and Pistol Range is temporarily closed for renovation.
It is suppose to open in May with a new ventilation system.
Time will tell.

That's because you guys live or lived in the boon docks. LOL !!!
I'm in Westchester and the courthouse we are required to go is in White Plains.
White Plains to Westchester is like Manhattan is to New York City.
A big city with too many anti-gun people, including a few judges.
It even takes 3 to...
Go to Blue Mountain in Cortlandt.
Depending on what type of rifle you have, rimfire or centerfire, you can go to either the small bore or large bore ranges.
They have benches, shooting rests and range safety officers that will be happy to assist you in the process.
It is an inexpensive place to...
I use to carry a Glock 19.
A few months ago I treated myself to a Sig Sauer P365XL with a Romeo-X red dot custom shop.
The rest of the pistol is stock.
It conceals well and I shoot it much better than the Glock due to the grip angle.
Since I have been shooting Glock 19"s for over a decade It's...
I'm in Westchester.
I received my permit well over a decade ago.
At that time it was 6 months for an appointment and another 6 months for a judge to sign off on it.
When I called to make my appointment that's what I got, a 6 month appointment
I was told to call every week in the event there was...
I use Federal 124 Grain 9mm, HST for carry and American Eagle for practice.
Manageable recoil, fast follow up shots. Carry an extra mag.
Practice, practice and practice, dry and live fire.
Drawing, presentation, trigger control and follow up shots.
Practice at both 7 and 15 yards, I favor 15...
