Reflection disappears if you cover glue bead along bottom of lens with paper. Too tight to get in with a sharpie. Marker will wind up on lens.

The reflection is on the other side of the lens. It seems the light is emitting off the clear glue which holds the red tinted glass to the bottom of the frame. I wonder if I took a black sharpie and colored the glue black would it stop the reflection. I will test with a piece of black paper and...

Photos won't show it. Seems like a refraction from the bottom of the glass. It bounces across the top.

Even with the brightness turned all the way down inside or outside a red line (reflection) is seen along the top of the glass when the muzzle is tilted down. Is this something that is common on Holosun red dots ?

I had it on auto in my house. I'll try lowering the brightness. I think it may be a reflection from where the front glass is glued at the bottom. When I tilt the muzzle all the way up I get a green line across the bottom of the sight.

@ikilledkenny, Congratulations ! When I received my permit almost a decade ago it took 2 months for an appointment and 2 months for the permit. That was record time back then. They also did not call my references or even my wife.

After you obtain an address in Oneida County maybe you should apply for a full carry in Oneida County. I’m sure it will be much easier than Westchester. In Westchester County the Westchester County Clerk’s office takes care of pistol licenses, not the NYSPD.
