I find myself in the market for a brown belt that looks good enough to wear with a suit but is sturdy enough to hold a holster pretty firmly without bending. There are some steel core leather and synthetic belts out there for between $45 and $70. Anyone have any good suggestions?
In good shape, original box with original Allen wrench and paperwork. The stock was used briefly, and the forend was never put on a gun. Fits 12ga 870. Worked well but I decided to go back to wood.
located in N. Westchester. $30 FTF or you pay actual shipping cost.
Hi there!
I'm looking for a wood stock and forend for a Remington 870. Does anyone have one sitting around that they took off their old shotgun? I'd be willing to pay a fair price depending on condition. Let me know, thanks.
I can see it now. A video where you push a car into the street while the suburban mom who gets $15/hr to knock on people's doors once every ten years to make some extra money looks on in horror wondering "what did I do to deserve this? I asked him how many people live in the house, just like...
Good morning!
I'm in search of 12ga target ammo, the 100 round packs that you used to see in Walmart for $24. Walmart in Westchester is completely bare, and I don't want to go to Dick's. Has anyone seen this in stock for a reasonable price in Westchester or Putnam?
Thanks

I don’t think I have ever been in a gun store south of I-287 in which the staff didn’t treat me like an ignorant, penniless scoundrel who is probably going to rob the place. The farther north you get the better it generally is.
Why don't you just go to the local gun store and buy an inexpensive .22 handgun? Should be easy to find, cheap, and you'll use it because it's cheap to shoot. Once you get your permit, hopefully your perfect gun will be in stock and you'll add it then.
When you call for your appointment, they will schedule you for an appointment months and months from now. When I did it, it was like 10 months away. Their goal is to delay, delay, delay and hope you give up. That's why they ask you a bunch of questions and then no matter what you say tell you...
Not everyone who wants a pistol permit is the type of person who is great at examining an intentionally vague, dense, confusing handbook in a process designed to keep people from exercising their rights. So read it really carefully three times; or; pay someone to help you, otherwise you're...
Westchester county goes out of its way to make the process extremely annoying and difficult. I’m pretty sharp and I checked everything twice and did it myself, and it was fine, but if you make one little mistake they will deny you and make you wait months to re-apply. So if you are good enough...
Who cares if they take a knee. I’m pretty unconcerned with their political opinions (same with actors, musicians, twitter celebrities). I enjoy the game.
Planning on doing some coyote hunting. I’ve never been before. From a little internet research, my plan is to use an electronic call placed at the edge of a field, sit about 150 yards away across the field, and remotely activate the call. Any suggestions? Time of day or night? And finally...
Ok, so what do you want them to do? You keep saying they should do something, but what?
I get mailers, I get emails, I get legislative alerts with messages to call my legislators. What else can they do?
You think the NRA should have stuck it to Cuomo by supporting Cynthia Nixon? That is utterly ridiculous. Pay for ads in one of the most expensive media markets in the country to support a blatantly anti-gun candidate? That would be a complete waste of time, talent, and money. And for what...
I suppose I should have mentioned that this is for an AR-15 upper. I’m trying to do a budget featureless build, and I’m realizing that this way might be cheaper than buying a non threaded barrel.
Once a landlord signs a lease with a tenant, and accepts money, he has sold some of the rights to that property for the lease term. So it’s not his (exclusive) property any more, he has sold it.
It’s a conditional sale, and most leases have restrictions (you can’t sublet, for example, or the...
Thanks for the info so far. The best prices I have found for stripped lowers is just under 40 per. For 3, with a 3 transfers, it will be 180 or so. Any idea what the price for a bargain lower at either of those places is?
Has above seen any deals on stripped lowers locally? I’m near the Westchester Putnam border but could drive a bit.
I might want to get a few, but if I buy online it’s one transfer fee per lower, which is a lot compared to the price of the lowers, so I would love to get them locally.
Well, if the SHTF, of course you couldn’t give away a firearm unless a FFL did a background check. So you would have to singlehandedly fight your way to the gun store while your neighbor reloaded your mags. At least on the way back your neighbor could shoot too.
It’s an old Panasonic SA-HT65 DVD player and Home theater system. Center speaker, 4 surround speakers, subwoofer. All works well, just old. Pretty loud. Getting rid of it in northern Westchester. Some cosmetic damage to speakers (discoloration, scuffs). Perfect for a man cave. $30, local...
