Ahhh Texas land of the free!!

I used a dremmel to grind off the finger groves, threw on some talon grip tape and it made a huge difference..A little stippling with a soldering iron and well, she feels really good.

Hmmmm if I had to pick one pistol for EDC it would be my Glock 23 40 cal. All around good fighting gun, super reliable , accurate and no safety to fumble with. Carried in a cross breed super tuck it disappears nicely.

Advanced pistol, drawing from concealment, firing behind cover, weak and strong single hand shooting, shooting while moving, longer distance shooting say 15 yards or so, etc..

I have trained with Ken of Stretz and can say its a first class operation.

Glock G23 40 cal, with one in the pipe. I dont want to fiddle around with a safety when my stress level is going to be at the maximum level.

Do yourself a favor and check out CZs 1911. I purchased one a few months ago and it is really well made and extremely accurate and reliable. I also own a Dan Wesson Valor, and Colt LW commander. Cz is right up there and only about 600 bucks.
