Kellyanne Conway confirms she has COVID-19 after daughter posts on TikTok
Kellyanne Conway announced Friday night that she had tested positive for COVID-19.
Conway, a counselor to President Trump, said on Twitter that she tested positive Friday night. She said she had a light cough and...
One major finding is that media mentions of President Trump within the context of different misinformation topics made up 37% of the overall “misinformation conversation,” much more than any other single topic. The study concludes that Donald Trump was likely the largest driver of the COVID-19...
If you want to go featureless, in my opinion, Thordsen may be the way to go. But for me, I feel Thordsen's stock is a bit heavy for me. I personally prefer the center of gravity towards the front of the rifle. Here is the current set up for my featureless AR 9mm. It has a Strike Industry grip...
I originally bought this Thordsen Customs stock kit for my featureless AR build. But I decided to take different route now. The kit is in almost new condition. It was installed just once.
FRS-15 Gen III AR-15 Enhanced Stock, $119.10
FRS-15 GEN III ADJUSTABLE CHEEK WELD KIT, $24.99
LENGTH OF...
I am a first-time ammo buyer and in fact a new gun owner. I just tried to buy ammo online. It is really an ignoring process. One seller asked not only my FFL license but also my conversation with the FFL about the transfer fee. After going through all the steps, she told me that their warehouse...
Haha, I didn't have too much trouble installing the takedown pivot by luck. But I had some trouble installing the enhanced buffer tube. I am a very picky person and wanted the enhanced buffer tube all the way into the buffer retainer. The retainer and the spring flew out three times. Finally, I...
I am not saying it is correct to use thread locker there and don't have enough experience to judge it is correct or not. But by my mechanical common sense, I was saying it might NOT be necessary.
I watched this video when I was installing mine.
I think it may not be necessary to use thread lock for civilian use. I didn't use it anyway because I used Strike Industries Enhanced Castle Nut which has a locking mechanism. However, I found white grease is a must. The grease will reduce...
In my experience, it will cause a problem usually in the last one or two rounds. I applied a small amount of white gun grease on the marked areas. It helps. Please see the photos.
I have been practicing with BF-10 with Lancer 10/20 mag and dummy rounds. It works like a champ. I think you need to use, at least, the BF-10 more than 20 times to get it runs smoothly. Your pushing action needs to be clean and forceful. If I have to modify the BF-10, I would extend the handles...
Finally, I got all done.
On the AR 15, its charging handle is Geissele's, I like the charging handle very much. It is very well designed and made. The trigger is Rise Armament RA-434 High-Performance Trigger. Initially, I bought a Vortex Strike Fire II red dot. But I have a low level of...
I just ordered 3 steel buffer weights. It is cheap, 3 for 2.25. 8.20 shipped. Therefore, I can make a whole range of buffers from carbine up to H3. I may start with H1 first.
For the .223. I knew I needed a special buffer for the 9 mm so I got the correct one. But I didn't pay attention when I ordered the buffer for 223. Should I start with H buffer?
I just realized that I bought an H3 heavy buffer. In fact, I had no idea which buffer I should buy. Is it still ok to use a heavy buffer? Or I have to order a different buffer. What weight I should start with?
That makes sense. I will do that. Thanks!
I changed Vortex Strikefire II to a Strike Eagle Scope after watching some videos on Youtube. I will do this for both scope and red dot.
I just got the FC Hook. This thing works very nice. I have Mean Arm mag lock as well and am glad that I didn't install the Mean Arm mag lock. It is a bit expensive, $36.00, but as long as it leaves the option for me to remove the mag. I think it is worth it.
The magazine is Lancer 10/20. It has...

Thanks for the info!
Finished the 9 mm. The 9 mm is heavier than I expected. It is 8 lbs 4 ozs. Both the stock and the barrel add weight substantially. Here is a question. I found that I can't line the rear and front iron sights in my most comfortable position. And, I can't make absolute co-witness among the iron...
I have never actually used the Mean Arm quick loader and BF-10. But from the design point view, BF-10 has the advantage over the Mean Arm one. Mean Arm loader has a lock piece for transport. You have to take the lock piece off before loading the magazine. BF-10 doesn't require any extra piece...
I finally finished the uppers.
For the AR15, I love Aero Precision's M4E1 upper. It uses a set screw for forward assist. Its quad rail handguard looks wonderful and is very light. My only complaint is that the slots on the handguard are neither m-lock nor keymod. So the slots are basically...
I just finished the AR 9 mm upper. Before I started to assemble the upper, I watched many Youtube videos. All the videos I watched indicated that I need a barrel wrench, a torque wrench, and a breaker bar. But I realized that if I want to loose the barrel nut, I can simply set the torque on the...
I bought two red dots for the rifles. One is a $35 Sight Mark for the 9 mm and another is Vortex Strike Fire II for the AR. After watching some of the videos on Youtube, I realized that shooting at a range, preferably indoor range with moving targets, maybe is the only way to calibrate the red...
Do I need to lube the buffer with grease? In some of the youtube videos, the authors said yes. In my opinion, it doesn't need it. Grease may slow down the buffer action. Some light oil should be well enough.
I have been looking for Model 19116 for a long time and finally gave it up. I am building an AR 9 mm now.
Act fast and go grab this one

I don't know how you are going to load the mag. I bought three BF-10 quick loaders and a Lance mag according to the following thread.
https://nygunforum.com/threads/bear-flag-defense-speedloaders.34577/
I changed the thread title to Building AR15 with fixed mag and featureless AR 9 mm.
Here is a photo to show the progress of the AR 9. I am waiting for picking up the lower from my FFL dealer and a Rise Armament RA-140 trigger now. I wanted a black stock but they shipped an FDE one. However, I...
To featureless or not to featureless. That is the question.
After carefully considering all the suggestions here and watching some home defense videos on YouTube, I think I am going to build two rifles. A fixed mag AR15 and a featureless AR 9 mm. As a newbie, I was overwhelmed by the AR15...
I understand what you meant. At this point, I still can go for a fixed mag AR if I am not sure. Once I have a fixed mag, everything else should be fine.
I did a search on the forum and found this document.
So, I assume that it is ok if a muzzle brake is permanently attached to the barrel and doesn't function as a flash suppressor.
