i am a Glock guy die hard but i just fired Smith and Wesson MP shiels in .40 cal and man was i surprised. it handled very well and was fairly accurate. if you get the chance to shoot one do. the grip is slim and felt very nice in the hand. they also make it in .45 acp and 9mm good luck
