Getting rid of the SAFE act does not reestablish the rights of law abiding citizens. If they had any balls they'd repeal all the way back to the Sullivan act.
We love John. At last years's New Hampshire Liberty Alliance liberty dinner, he got an award for a perfect voting record (where perfect meant that he voted with our liberty voting recommendation 100% of the time - including never missing a vote.). He was the only rep to get that last year...
Also fixes the 'suitable person' part of the old law for the permit which technically used to make NH somewhat less of a shall issue state than people used to think. Under the new bill, unless you are prohibited from possessing a firearm by law, they must issue you the license.

And it's signed - My wife got to be there for the bill signing. Pretty cool. I think at this point we can make a strong argument that NH has the best firearms laws in the country.
Signing ceremony for SB12 is today. The new law will go into effect immediately. Feel free to visit NH and carry openly or concealed without a license starting tomorrow - (Open carry was already always allowed - the new law just allows you to wear a coat...it is February after-all).
