Well I just got an answer from the Lancaster County sheriff - they’re not doing non-residents anymore either. I guess I’ll try Wyoming. All I’m trying to do is renew. I’ve had this permit for ten years, and each renewal it gets harder.

She may not know what she was talking about, but I don’t know what else to go by.

I was hoping that was so, but I just spoke directly to the sheriff’s office and she said you need to appear in person anyway. I asked specifically if that requirement applied to renewals and she said it did.

Roger that. So now I just have to get renewed somewhere.
