I've seen some on this forum looking forward to it. Most of them are too old to be anything approximating a soldier at this point, but would be perfectly happy to watch others kill for them. A civil war has been ongoing in this country for more than a hundred years, waged by godless communists one step at a time until here we are. There has been little push back in all that time by actual Americans, to the point that a century later the United States is hardly recognizable, and many have embraced the suck.
Its been a one sided fight wherein the insurrectionists play dirty pool through organized crime tactics, taking over the levers of power, entrenching themselves in the various sectors of society, warping the cultural fabric, undermining our laws, inculcating their propaganda, destroying what they are unable to outright win or take over, and has flared up many, many times in widespread violence, including every day street crime and up to terrorism and the burning of cities.
The ones that have been working and planning and succeeding in taking over the country and gutting it from within use every underhanded, violent, and wicked means at their disposal.
This is very well documented and has not been addressed hardly at all since long before the communist infiltration of the FDR administration.
The ones that have been talking and writing, voting and donating, by playing the political game, and relying on a corrupt system and corrupt politicians, have achieved nothing to stem the tide.
The Bolshevik revolution was essentially a civil war, the gutting of the old order to replace it with a new order. That is precisely what has been going on in this country since long before I was a twinkle in my parents eyes.
The fighters are not Americans, and the Americans are not fighters!
We turn a blind eye to the clear history of this because we do not want to do what is necessary to put a stop to it, and now the genie is out of the bottle.
We have allowed these scum to steal our nation right our from under us with no real resistance at all, to the point that this movement has captured nearly every institution of power that now hangs over us.
Yes its different from the Bolshevik revolution because it has been more of a subversion and an incremental take over, but its is no less insidious because of that. Why would they openly fight to implement their goals when we roll over and just let them do it with barely a whimper over it and hand the country right to them?
The US Constitution is not a suicide pact, but most treat it as such because they don't want to get their hands dirty.
Sane people do not want to embrace violence. Its understandable. However, violence has embraced us whether we like it or not.
We can stew in it and complain about it, but the civil war that is being waged goes on apace and will not stop until we are all in chains.
More than two years of forced lock downs, forced masking, forced vaccines, forced unemployment, forced scarcity of goods, forced destruction of our economy, forced curtailing of most of our Constitutional Rights, and so on, with an illegitimate pudding slurper occupying the White House via a stolen election, and still you people quibble!

1 day agoThat was a brilliant and enlightened summation of the actions and desires of the Dems in power. Definitely seems to make a person wonder what their end game is. I think it goes way beyond Trump... but obviously keeping Trump out of office (by any means necessary) would be critical to their plans because he would be a stumbling block to their goals. Probably why they tried so hard to remove him time and time again after he won in 2016. This mans summary was very thought provoking.

What do you guys mean when you say "civil war"? I can't picture what that would even look like today. It's not like it's south vs north. It's not like the 2 sides (maybe 3, 4, 5...?) sides would be wearing uniforms. How do you know who the enemy is? What's the objective(s)? I think what is really being discussed is SHTF.

I can't see a real civil war occurring. What I do believe can happen is the type of violence northern Ireland saw for decades. Partisans on both sides striking at symbols or crowds of the opposite side. Bombings. Drive by shootings. Each act of violence spurring another in retaliation. That I find all too possible.
It would be a lot like Iraq. Sunni vs Shiite with the US Military trying to play both sides while taking advantage of the country.
Basically 1920 Chicago mob war.

Some hybrid or constantly evolving major domestic conflict is our only hope at this point. Best case scenario is it's won quickly.
The biggest concern I have is the disturbance it causes here creating an opportunity for external powers to exploit our instability.
I envision a civil war type conflict (people vs people, state vs state) turning into a revolution, that ultimately results in WWIII.
No reason to delay it any further.
Some hybrid or constantly evolving major domestic conflict is our only hope at this point. Best case scenario is it's won quickly.

This is my concern also. If we ended up in some type of civil war, with our military all fuckered up the way it is now. China would walk right in and this administration would help them.

That may not be so easy for some foreign power walking into a hornets nest, be it China or the UN. Even with 9/11, people and groups that hated each other were essentially hugging each other later that day. Americans will see an outsider stepping into a family feud.
Maybe I'm too optimistic in this view but I was in NYC 30 days after the towers fell and seen people behaving completely different. I was obviously a country hick outsider and was treated with the utmost respect by thug gangbangers when I didn't know where I was going and ended up where I shouldn't have been.
I have a deep hate for NYC and everything about it, but that few days I was there I was proud of what the people there were doing and how they were behaving.
I don't think that will happen because the dispute is essentially an urban versus rural/suburban one. In practically every state, even the red ones, cities are run by democrats/liberals. Conservatives are more likely in rural areas and the suburbs are split.
