No, I didnt say that, What I did say , (paraphaseing ) is that if things go crazy, the police may have to stand down, (simply because they don't have the ability to control so many people in any kind of safe manner)As in if the people tore the fences down, the police cant really fire on them or arrest them safely )Think, LA riots, Ferguson MO.

Im just guessing, but overall after the rally I would imagine the police would respond much like they did here in NY.

Cops losing their jobs, and their fat retirement benefits that they can collect after only 20 years??.. Lots of cops retire in their 40's-50's, and then live a nice life while still young.. Think they will give that up in the name of patriotism???
Think a young gung ho Army or Marine pfc will ignore the orders of a Colonel thats given his unit "shoot to kill orders" against citizens?? Not going to happen..
Remember these phrases- "I was just doing my job"
" I was only following orders"
"I was doing what I was told to do"

Justification for horrible atrocities throughout history, right there in those three short sentences , and it will happen again..
The police and military will confiscate, will break down you door at night, will hold a gun to you or your terrorized families head, WILL kill you if ordered to do so..

"The police I know are all pro 2A"..

Heard it a million times, never seen any proof.. Please read about the gun confiscation during Katrina when honest people NEEDED their weapons for protection because of the looting and mayhem. Read about Kent state, armed soldiers against unarmed college kids.
Ruby ridge as well.. The Waco whackos... Quite a few examples in the modern age when most of us on this forum were around.

Well, I do think that most cops and military are pro 2A and respect the rights of citizens. But that won't matter. They will just get the ones who aren't to do the dirty work, and use the others for cleanup and support.

There weren't many Germans who would have been willing to turn on the gas in the showers, but there were enough.

Finding people to drive the trains, deliver the gas, protect the guys running the showers, etc was much easier.

When the anti gun Gestapo comes for you, if you manage to kill them, the cops that come after you after that will not be limited to the goon squad.

The VA governor claims he's taking the precautions because of "credible evidence". I really want absolute proof. Is this the paranoid wet dream of some political staff member? Is it bullshit talk from Facebook? Is it cheap Internet talk? If this is the basis for their actions then any political candidate who has suggested violent confiscation of firearms justifies why the civilian population needs to be armed. Speech and threats by the opposition have to be taken as equally credible. 2A supporters are marginalized, piss on the lying opposition.

I’m talking about in other threads when it was said that the police wouldn’t enforce these laws and the people wouldn’t comply with them. Remember me saying how can you buy the new Scorpion EVO? In that thread whichever it was since there are many, the general consensus by the masses here are that Virginia cops will not enforce these new gun laws.

I think they're referring to yet another case of corrupt 'justice' in the state of VA

I never said the police wouldn't enforce the law , unless it was under very specific circumstances . The scorpion Evo thing was referring to the laws itself , I believe you asked a question pertaining to the purchase of a new one. Not law enforcement disregarding the law.

Im not sure that's the general consensus of anybody , as I said earlier they would most likely walk the fine line like those officers here in NY.Thats why I know I never said that. (Unless it was in a specific circumstance )

For the record I don't speak for any law enforcement officer or dept ,Been out of the game a long time, just voicing my opinion like everyone else

Then I guess it is a derogatory slam at a long, tried and true member of VCDL.That is kind of ominous, who would post up something like that, who, other than members of VCDL would have any knowledge of him. Cops?
