Americans wear what they freaking want when they exercise their Inalienable Rights guaranteed and protected by their Federal and State Constitutions.

Americans have every Right and more to sport the exact same weaponry that our military and law enforcement personnel carry, and if our fellow Patriots want to wear the same gear, they should do so without getting guff from their fellow citizens.

Don’t really care how the nut jobs on the left view us exercising our rights. They view us with disdain anyway. The whole idea of a rally is to bolster your side, it's not a debate, and it's not about convincing anyone of anything.

Trump doesn't hold rallies because he thinks they will convince Democrats to change their vote for instance. They are to encourage his supporters.

This is about telling the people on the front lines "you're not alone in this fight".

The way it sounded in previous days was that this one was going to be different. Seems the same as Albany to me like I predicted minus the cardboard cutouts and perhaps a bit more people.

This rally will end in a few hours. People will go home. In a few weeks or months, laws will be passed in some form. Sorry for the pragmatism. It’s in my nature to just say how it is.

I considered the Albany rallies to be "group therapy." I doubted that they'd change anything. But, it was nice to be in a place with like-minded Americans...at least for a little while.

That's what they're for.

It's easy to get demoralized and give up if you think your all on your own. Rallies like this are necessary to remind people that they are not.

That is the primary purpose of any rally, it's right in the name "rally".

Reading comments and discussion about this rally, I keep seeing people reference "law abiding gun owners".

This is a mistake IMHO.

Once these Bill's are signed, these people will no longer be "law abiding gun owners" and will by definition be criminals (as were the men who built our country).

We should not be conflating the terms "law abiding" with "good guys". They can make us no longer "law abiding" with a stroke of a pen. It will not change who is in the wrong here.
