Yes 10/30’s are good to go. If your doing a fixed mag version I’d stick with normal 10 round mags. Easier to clear out if you get a jam. Helped me out once on a double feed.
Yes. I Karma'd some away once and as far as I know the winner hasn't been imprisoned. Yet.

On the bench just stick with 10 rounders. I use 10 rounders even in a free state.

Remember that a Mag violation is a felony, make sure the 10/30 is a perminant modification . If blocked with a limiter make sure the base plate is epoxied on , seeing lots of 10/30 mods with a pop rivet I question if that will pass muster.
