I've watched that one, I wish life size still posted videos. And I think he also had a shooting video I cant remember, but Ian's is a much more in depth on th workings and event disassembles the gun
You and I share very similar interest and taste in firearms and firearms media. We really must get on the range together someday. Which pretty much means you have to come down to PA since very little of what I own is legal in NYS.

I love these weird ass guns. The only problem is when they have weird ammo to go with it. Kinda prevents you from really wanting to acquire one. The dude in the second video is having issues with the sleeves because he has to make the plastic walls thinner to accommodate the 38sp casing. He would probably have success if he loaded them how they were originally loaded. I'm thinking he would need a thinner casing like a 30 carbine (or whatever would fit snuggly in the hole) and then use wadding. A round where the bullet is pressed into the casing is just too much pressure.
Ian did a collab with C&R I believe you watched it. I posted a few of the videos about all the light machine guns of WW1 and pitted them all together to see what worked and what didnt

I would suggest that in the spring you make a pilgrimage to Pittsburgh for one of Ben's classes. I could make on of my NYS naughty rifles available to you. Even the Galil, I suggest the Malaysian surplus 7.62x51 as it is cheap and good.
That's pretty much my goal, starting in 2020 getting uber serious about handguns and defensive shooting. And hoping to make it to one of Ben's classes

Seems like a modern manufacturer could make revolver simllar to this except using common ammo. And better looking and ergonomic using modern polymer. I don't remember the safe act rules for revolvers. It would be great to have a higher capacity that is not in violation of safe act.
