If you have to live in NY, it's hard to beat Livingston County.
Had a "big scandal" a few years ago at the jail.
The scandal was that guys were trading shifts to get more OT.
That's it, no fraud or anything, just trading shifts.

Knew of one deputy that worked in the jail caught selling drugs. No charges filed if he left law enforcement forever. .. Was this a scandal kept off the "radar " ... You or I would be doing time.

I wonder if the frauditor was disappointed since he couldn't bait anyone into a confrontation.
I think Niagara Co. might be the most gun friendly County in NY. Or at least it was when I left. Defacto shall issue permit scheme, all permits are issued as full carry ect.
I have little doubt however that Niagara County is considerably more corrupt, what with all those greasy wops doing greasy wop things in Niagara Falls

Glad Im not the only one who fully understands what these "auditors" are really all about. They earn $4 per 1,000 YouTube views, and some videos have 100K+ views.
They wait & bait until someone gets annoyed, and then they get their confrontation or arrest which brings in the big bucks.
Scum.

They may largely be opportunistic scum, but they do serve a valuable purpose.
The cops do the same thing to regular people in some places and pat themselves on the back for writing tickets or making arrests for it.

Mostly harassing, but does at least keep people from blasting through town.
I would prefer a well organized professional organization doing what they do, but since we don't have one, I'll take what I can get.
They suck. Period. Most have no idea what they speak about. I really love the What is your Badge number thing. Real strong and tough asking that one.
