Took me for surprise for a second too.
What’s the story with these, any good? pretty cool to look at but I’d rather use the money to buy working guns!

“Browning M1919A4 .30 Caliber antique NON-FIRING Machine gun with a new replica Tripod for display purposes ONLY!!
I do not know which war (I.E. Vietnam, Korea, WWII) this gun was used in when it was functional, but it is an original military antique. It was manufactured by Inland corp. The serial number on the receiver is 427953 The receiver has been shortened and I am assured by IMA that the gun could never be restored to a functional weapon.
The Tag on the tripod reads "No 1247 HMR mount tripod Cal .30 M2. Included would be a short disintegrating belt of inert ammo and a 7.62 ammo box
I purchased it several years ago from IMA (International Military Antiques) in Gillette NJ for $2350.00, Their current sale price is $2499.00 as you can verify by visiting their website. The only problem with that is the last few times I viewed the site, they did not have any M1919's in stock.
I no longer have room to display the gun. Rather than store it in a closet, I am willing to take a small loss. My loss is your gain. I would sell it for $2,000.00 Firm. “
