Yup. Learned my lesson. Trying to get my boy to repeat my mistake so I know he's got it down pat....Nice shooting.
I got tired of wrecking arrows, so I stopped shooting groups with my bow. Most of the time I practice with only one arrow, but if I use more than one, I shoot at different spots on the target.
Best target you can get for the money right now is the big orange 400 speed bag at field and stream. It will easily stop Xbow, and I use it with my xbow but I mostly use it with my vertical bow. Awesome target. Currently $40 with a $20 rebate making it $20. They are prominently displayed at field/stream.

What? Get yer butt out there and practice. It is a perishable skill and The deer deserve that you are at your very best. I hunt with a longbow and a recurve so I’m practicing all year long.
Are your arrows normally 3 inches long?
I'm fairly new to archery but my quiver seems a bit longer than yours. Never seen one like that.
Oh I gotchya . It’s called a pocket quiver. Made for woods roaming. The arrows stay in the quiver very well. It has a snap on the back side that makes a belt loop and a thick piece of leather that fits into your back pocket.
Same with 9A. Seems the dec doesn’t know the science behind deer mating. A buck will mate with 2-3 doe annually but the doe to buck ratio is 20:1 from what I have read. I saw 8 doe last fall and 0 buck.
Maybe it's for one of the billions of other sexes of woke deer

They’ve been wandering around up in that area for some 20+ years or more now. I was a service tech. In that area that long ago and I used to see young bulls on and off over the years.most of the time they were in the marshy areas on the 10 mile dirt road going back to the Stillwater Hotel.
