Official entry.
100 and 200 yard targets shot with Savage 6.5 creedmoor. Shot from prone position with bipod on the front and a bag for the rear. Ammunition used was 140gr Hornady eld-m with 40.5gr of h4350 and cci250 primers.
Conditions were not great, only 13 degrees with blowing snow. Almost could not shoot the 200 yard targets, could barely see them through the blowing snow, had to take shots between wind gusts.
Used up the last of the rounds I had loaded, bought a new batch of 140gr eld-m but they measure out slightly different than the batch I have been using, going to have to load up a batch with different seating depths to see what shoots best.
Tried out factory 147gr, they didn’t group as well as I had hoped. Also going to work up a load for those. Here is a 3 shot groups compared to my older batch of 140 hand loads.
