My couple of apple trees have yet to bloom but they are budding nicely. The single peach tree is in beautiful full bloom. C’mon bees, do your thing !

saw the tops of 2 asparagus coming up this am. Were not there yesterday. I put in 2 dozen crowns years ago. Last year only six of them were still producing. 5 years ago 19 of them still fed us.

My American plum trees are covered with blossom buds. I hope the weather the cold snap, they will be spectacular!!

Too cold in my area for bees to be out and about. Hope you have good luck.

I have several plants in the basement, started from seed, that already have tomatoes forming, and tomato cuttings that are starting to flower. Peppers are flowering, and a couple look like they are fruiting. I always start too many, and too soon.

Last year I built a raised garden bed garden. My soil is mostly clay so this should work well.

You guys have got some damn nice looking raised beds! Bet it cost a pretty penny though. I’m a cheap old scavenger . All my boxes were once other things and I scavenged the wood to make them garden boxes.

Good thing you didn’t build those beds this year or they would be like $1,500.

I picked a ton of strawberries today. So many so that I have two whole sandwich bags to my mil, made strawberry shortcake for 4 of us, then I have two full sized Tupperware containers for fresh eating. I have more to pick tomorrow too.

I never did get my strawberry box built. Oh well, when I have the time I can always build it for next season.

Raspberries and blue berries are ripening now. I’ve got a few apples and a ton of peaches. Black berries are growing like crazy as well.

Yup, there’s going to be a bumper crop of All berries this year !

So far my nine tomato plants have nearly quadrupled in size and a few flowers are budding. Should be a decent haul this year.

I bet my berries or the birds and squirrels get nearly all of them. As it is the slugs still get a good amount of strawberries.

Everything is looking good in the garden's, bumper crop of berry's, currants, grapes, apples!!!!! One big problem, rain, we need rain. The pop up shower's for the last three + weeks have been going just north, south, east, and west of us.

I finally had some rain today. It was a descent soaking rain. I had a bit last night too so this should help me. Only rained about two-three hours today though.

Woke up to my phone blaring the emergency broadcast alarm around 12:30 last night. It was thunder and lightening pretty good and the alarm Was for a tornado Warning! I tracked the storm on radar and the rotating clouds were well east of me and moving away. I didn’t hear of any damage on the radio this morning on my way to work.
