sup peeps I'm new to the area, not even sure if I can buy a little rifle like this in the area yet! but let me know what you got. I been repairing roofing for a client and the squirrels keep taring up his roof. he told me to take care of them so I figured I would make a little feeder for them with a good back stop and wack em.

well, it’s this really cool looking white squirrel. Like I thought it was just a single albino at first, but the whole family is that way. And they have these little horns on the top of their head. Sometimes they float over the pond out back and it seams like their feces is rainbow colored. I havnt tried it yet...

Totally agree. Only problem is s good pellet gun runs more. Like a crappy little .22lr mossy that cost $100-200, will shoot as good or better then a nice gamo in the same price range. You gotta spend a $100-200 more to get the equal Proformance.

so, just sayn, still WTB a little .22lr bolt gun if anyone has one used for sale. if I gotta spend close to new I’ll just go do that in a store. Hoping to find someone’s beater that they don’t use anymore

damn tree rats .. .. you will need bait & tannerite ( lots ) and a AR in 223/5.56 .. you could use a bolt 223 savage too .. but the AR is taticool LOL

I think the better check the hunting regs was in reference to baiting and distance from dwellings. People are just watching out for you so you don’t get arrested by those that protect albino, rainbow shitting, floating, horned squirrels you so descriptively described.

Go check a local gun store and see if they have a beater gun. I’ve got one but we’re so far away it’s not worth shipping it to you through an FFL since you need to do a background check on all gun sales.

Nuisance wildlife, kill 'em all.

I have..had...rabbits. 22, CBs, end of rabbits. Might be an issue about the 500 ft (yds?) discharge business.
3 bunnies still in the freezer.

The furry bastards chewed up the gardens and made rabbit diameter holes in the lattice. I can't stand that stuff anyway, but I was directed to fix it, twice, then got rid of the critters. I tried a trap but that didn't work out well, lost my patience.

This state has a money grub for everything. Can't kill the possums in my neighborhood outside of hunting season unless their activities meet certain criteria and/or you get a special permit from the state.

Same applies to the four different species of woodpeckers that try to eat my house. I have to bribe them with suet to keep them away from the house.

Suggestion....buy a new one...take care of it...pass it down to your children...then to grandchildren and it will always be remembered as Dad's old gun or Grampa's old gun...makes it extra special.

update if your all interested

I met John over in pawling and ordered a Savage FVSR bolt .22lr. Put a vortex diamond tactical 6-24 on it and getting 1.5moa with cci standard. hoping to try some wolf and aquilla to get close to 1moa but time will tell. ordered a Boyds ATone stock for it. absolutely love the stock for the money. can't go wrong. again, hoping to get some better groups with different ammo but all in all a great little 16" barreled varmint package

Gonna dispatch squirrels around LaGrangeville with a bolt action .22, I take it you'all ain't from around these parts. If you miss or don't land a kill shot, you may not have time with a bolt action to save your own skin. Word is the squirrels in around here migrated from the DEC superfund site at Nuclear lake. One tore up a have a heart trap at my place last week. I won't walk the dog at night anymore with just a handgun.

That's not a $200 rifle anymore
I bought one last year and love it. Just put a compact Nikon on it but still need to add something for a comb riser to find the scope easier. I found the short barrel is a bit fussy on ammo. Impact in will change a lot with the hyper loads. Right now I'm sighted in for cci red,white,blue hollow points.
