There's about 9 or so lanes, and the place is usually packed to the gills, but even more so from about October to March. And people bring all manner of guns, not just pistols. They rent guns too, so you can snag a full auto M4 or AK once in a while. The owners are great guys and huge 2A supporters.

I keep going longer and cannot imagine shooting with 25 other than a pistol or a BB gun. I have a few hundred acres and so when I get bursts of energy I cut down trees and extend my range. I do need to put up 25 yards for pistols, but so far I have set up 100 yards, 200 yards, 300 yards, 400 yards, and 500 yards and have cut trees to 600. The 500 got knocked over by the glacial snows we had this winter, so that's a work in progress; and I have to laser 600 back to the shooting station and hang plates. I bought the plates but need to hit up Lowes for some chain. I will relocate that 500 problem to about 502 yards so I can avoid that mud spot that caused the poles to come down. I want to also set up my 25 this year so I can target shoot my pistols. I actually have one pistol that was designed for that purpose - the Kimber Target Stainless II. The rest of my few dozen pistols really are not designed for IPSC, or target bench, or anything other than being in a purse or holster. Actually - I take that back - I have one other. I have the Colt National Match Gold Cup Delta Elite in 10mm. That was sent back to Colt after I bought it to get accurized (1" groups at 25 yards) so I could shoot IPSC with my wife's brother. But then she died, I stopped talking to her family, and I never did do anything about IPSC shooting.
Here's how I did my range - you will notice a few mistakes I made - i should have gone with a concrete pad, and I should have put the steps for the first floor on the same side as I did the steps for the second floor. The second photo is before I set up 500, so you only see 1 through 4. But of course 500 fell down so you wouldn't see it right now anyway. ;-( Third photo is how I do each hundred. The rebar is the right separation to hold up paper with wooden clothes hangers. Sadly I go through rebar. If a bullet accidentally hits it, it splits in half and becomes useless. ;-(

I thought about picking the fn-50 when they first came out, they had a introductory price under $1000. I want to say it was $900 but I'm not 100% sure now. I did shoot a serbu bfg-50 last spring.....I was impressed.

Yes. My buddy said it felt like a 20ga with a slug. I haven't shot a 20ga in a really long time so I Idk if it is similar but I do know it wasn't bad at all.

I don't think I could club anything with that rifle. We were suppose to order the rifle together but my buddy dragged his feet so I bought something else.............then he called me up and said he ordered it.
