I think my kids are taking me to a Hank Jr. concert next month. I haven't been to a big concert in 4 decades. I hate crowds! If I go it will be at Suckacuses Amphitheater and I'm told they search for booze, drugs, and weapons. I can't stand the thought of going anywhere near it unarmed.

Few decades back, some Blacks in representative positions demanded that black motorists were dis proportionally stopped and cited; FBI conducted a study and found they were stopped more often, BECAUSE they were committing more crimes and infractions.

Mr. Foot spitting facts. Since my wonderful diagnosis of CLL the day after last Thanksgiving, I have been driving 3 hours to Rochester quite a bit. What a dump. Thankfully my lodging is in the Henrietta area, and I go to the hospital and get the hell out of town. Luckily hit the Red Lobster 3 days before their collapse. My local area has seen the same decline for the same reasons. It is like a virus, once the host is ravaged and destroyed, on to the next. I blame the individuals but also the government who enables and rewards through leniency this behavior. But boy if you have 1 too many rounds in your mag, suddenly they are fresh out of leniency and sympathy. Rampant criminality will be the death of our nation if left unfettered and aided by the pandering political class...

I do. I am fascinated by the differences in people. My wife calls it an obsession. There are many communities of people throughout the world that bring nothing, as a group, to the tables of life. Some do nothing but destroy, while others build, design and create.
Once upon a time, we had beautiful areas of our once great cities, many stand in absolute ruin. Some groups of people bring nothing but destruction and chaos. They have such hate in their hearts and their souls are empty. They are nothing more than a cancer upon good people. Their moral compass is broke....I am not sure they ever had one.
Our elected officials are too damn afraid to talk about this issue, even more afraid to actually do something about it. This human cancer needs to be removed from society. Build mass incarceration centers and lock them up. No guards, no supervision. Allow them to live their lives in the despicable manner that they chose. Kind of like the Movie, escape from New York. There are solutions, conversations are the first thing that is needed.
We can look, as an example, to the migrants throughout the world. Look at the damage they are doing in Europe right now. Most of their infestation comes from one continent. Europe is not better in any way of this mass migration.
The US and our migrant issue, it is the same here.
I handle things differently than city people, as do most where I live. I solve my own problems and I let my neighbors solve theirs. I'll leave it at that.
That's because you have money/means to pay for a Lawyer, pay for Court Costs, Pay Fines/Fees, and in doing so not costing the County Money, Time, and man hours they can't spare...the indigent (poor/no money/unemployed), the repeat offenders, those with previous Felonies, without Licenses, with illegal (and illegally obtained) firearms, pose a cost to the Legal System, the County, and the State; now this isn't to say they aren't always turned loose or ever spend any real time in Jail/Prison, but with two Max units being shut down and two more on the chopping block, well it's looking like it'll be easier to get away with a crime, especially within one's own culture of shoot-shovel-shut_up.
Attorney told me once "you'll spend every dime you've got to stay out of Prison."

I still have the Triple K double shoulder rig(s) setup for long drives, and have expanded it from my twin M&P Shield 9mm’s, to twin Shield 45’s, to twin Glock 17/19’s / P80's, and even twin Remington stainless 1911’s. The 1911's are very heavy though compared to the Shields. I found the shoulder holster setup to be the most comfortable setup when I drive on long trips. I also have Triple K's single rig harnesses (left and right as I am ambidextrous) that I can use with any of these holsters If I decide to only carry one. I have also set up a mag mount on my dash center console for either the Shields or the Glocks / P80's with 2 spare mags. It makes me a bit more comfortable given the utterly random nature of the shit going on out there. Now I am working on upgrading to a hard mounted in-car safe.

What's up with the hooded sweatshirts? Driving through Batavia today I saw 2 of them with their hoods up. It was practically 90 degrees out with high humidity. The 2 women with the group had just enough clothes on to cover their parts. And they didn't exactly have the body types for that. LOL
MLK said something to the effect of not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. Going by that metric it doesn't exactly do the ghetto trash much good.
Of course, there have always been Black people in Batavia but the homegrown ones aren't really any different than anyone else there as far as that goes. It's the influx of Blacks that are coming from Rochester that are the ones bringing the problems of big city crimes, violent crimes, and the ghetto culture with them.
The police blotter in the Batavia local news sure does look and it reads a lot differently than it did years ago. Batavia very rarely had shootings, home invasions, and crimes of that sort. Now it's a thing...
I posted a thread here 3 months ago about the attempted burglary at my friend's house when he was at work and his girlfriend was home alone. My friend called me from his work and I was able to quickly get to his house while the scumbag burglar was attempting to flee the scene. I got there first and spotted the loser. Very shortly after I arrived on scene a State Trooper did also and took the loser into custody. And surprise surprise it ended up being a Black dude from Rochester, this sort of shit never used to happen around here.

although she’s not that close to the park, my sister lives in the Maplewood district. It’s a bit ghetto along Dewey, but between her and some ex-co workers who also live in Maplewood I found it’s mostly one of the more quiet and stable poor neighborhoods in the city. For instance, the houses are better-maintained than many other areas of the city and there are very few lots where condemned houses were torn down. There’s also a grocery store not THAT far away, luxurious in a city rife with food deserts. This sucks. I’d expect something like that close to Avenue D or Lyell, not Maplewood.
W/R/T blacks in Rochester, it’s my observation that they are very edgy and high-strung compared to the black community where I was in Texas. I’m not going to strut the old “black friend” trope, but I can get along with anybody here in Texas and would definitely trust an armed black or brown community in Texas in ways that I don’t up north. It’s strikingly different and was apparent to me almost immediately. Ironically, I constitutional carry in Texas more because I can than because I feel a need to, but Roc is the first place I’ve lived where I feel I actually should carry…and of course, it’s very hard to do so. Makes perfect sense, huh?

All I have to say is red flag laws and revoking his pistol permit could have solved this. Maybe if he took the 18 hour training course for handgun safety this accident wouldn’t have happened.
