9 killed in Ohio in second mass shooting within 24 hours

Nine people in Ohio have been killed in the second mass shooting in the U.S. in less than 24 hours, and the suspected shooter is also deceased, police said.

Dayton police tweeted that an active shooter situation began in the Oregon District at 1 a.m., but that officers nearby were able to "put an end to it quickly." At least 16 others were taken to local hospitals with injuries, police said.

The suspected shooter's identity has not been released.

Miami Valley Hospital spokeswoman Terrea Little said 16 victims have been received at the hospital, but she couldn't confirm their conditions. Kettering Health Network spokeswoman Elizabeth Long said multiple victims from a shooting had been brought to system hospitals, but didn't have details on how many.

The guy in OH allegedly had a .223 AR, body armor and multiple mags. He was dirt napped in about a minute (thank God) or his attack could have been significantly worse than it was.

I pray for the survivors and families.



I am very worried about new laws and restrictions.

I read on another forum that even LEO'S did not engage the shooter .. Said he ran out of ammo and just surrendered .
Where does this lead ... Limit the amount of ammo one can buy for your gun in a certain time frame ... ... For me things don't always add up .... One gets ear protection ..does not wear gloves to protect hand due to gun heating up.. only brings a few mags ....However we don't know this .. for all we know perhaps gun jammed ... We never will get all the facts.

Why plan a political conference in DC when the Congress and Senate are on summer recess? Why did Shanon Watts instruct her traveling members to not communicate about their travel on social media or outside of their family? There are too many coincidences.

Bloomberg apparently was involved with picking this week / weekend, already knowing that Congress was scheduled to be in recess, as a date for a political anti gun group to meet in Washington DC. He spoke to the group on Friday just before the El Paso tragedy. On Saturday they were immediately available to protest after the El Paso tragedy.
