It never ceases to fail my understanding how any suspect in these events who is "positively" identified, gives themselves up, or is captured, make it out alive! I'm sure once out of site the suspect would reach for a weapon if the opportunity presented itself... But no! Let's have a trial, and years of media speculation about his childhood, lack of toys, and how he voted for Trump in the presidential election... Just sayin...

The Leftist Liberal Progressive fascists, who embrace Antifa, will now call for "gun control." Anyone that calls for disarming law-abiding Jews must be a Nazi. I will refer to them thusly.

The Democrats in the post-Civil War south disarmed defenseless innocent blacks and intentionally made them easy prey for the Klan. The same racist, anti-Semitic, Democrats still seek to disarm oppressed minorities.

In this case, the murderer's own posts show him to be an anti-Semitic anti-Trump white supremacist.

Still, I agree that someone in law enforcement should have put down this rabid mutt. He must have "reached for a gun" at some point when cornered.

President Trump has answered reporters questions numerous times today with.
"If some people were armed in the synagogue. This possibly could have gone very differently."

Or something close to that anyways.

Actually, others could similarly claim the number of mass shootings are down 20% in Trump's Administration (5 mass shootings) compared to Obama's Administration (24 mass shootings).

Wow! That Bowers guy sounds like a real winner. My mother isn't observant, but she converted to Judaism when I was 5, so things like this worry me.

I also haven't gone to temple in decades.
I have attended my niece and nephews bat & bar mitzvahs though. Each time I was called up to the bimah (stage for non Jews) as a mitzvah (honor). Each time I was carrying with my shoulder rig. Nobody ever knew.

May the innocent people and first responders who lost their lives today RIP. May the families, friends and congregants know we're all thinking of them.
Thank you to the first responders for putting yourselves in harms way for others you don't even know.

And right there is why I’m happy the shooter was caught alive. We need answers! When they get them they can shoot him

In a logical world this should help us get many more pro gun officials elected down state. Enough that we could get the Sullivan act removed .. Yes the king would have to go to get this done ....

“Thoughts and prayers” are only followed by more bad news, Jeffrey Myers wrote to his congregation just months ago.
The rabbi of a Pittsburgh synagogue where 11 people were killed by a gunman Saturday criticized weak gun control and politicians’ inaction just months ago in a message to his congregation about the Parkland, Florida, school shooting.

“We deserve better,” wrote Rabbi Jeffrey Myers. “Where are our leaders?” he asked in a chillingly prescient blog post July 19 on the website of the Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Congregation. Seventeen students and staff members were killed in a mass shooting in February at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Myers was likely in the chapel of the Tree of Life, former rabbi Chuck Diamond told Pittsburgh’s KDKA-TV, when suspected shooter Robert Bowers opened fire in the synagogue. Myers’ condition has not yet been revealed by authorities.

In his blog post, Myers decried the continuing cycle of bad news in America and do-nothing politicians.

“The push by the students from Parkland, Florida, to enact safer schools? Now that schools are closed for the summer, apparently school safety is not important, as shooters are finding other valuable sites,” he wrote.

“Despite continuous calls for sensible gun control and mental health care, our elected leaders in Washington knew that it would fade away in time,” Myers added. “Unless there is a dramatic turnaround in the midterm elections, I fear that that the status quo will remain unchanged, and school shootings will resume.”

“I don’t think that’s the answer to this problem,” Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto said in the wake of the Tree of Life Congregation shooting
Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto (D) on Sunday dismissed President Donald Trump’s suggestion of adding “armed guards” to houses of worship in the wake of the deadly mass shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue a day earlier.

Peduto, during an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” instead urged Congress to pass stricter gun laws to prevent similar attacks in the future.

“I don’t think that the answer to this problem is solved by having our synagogues, mosques and churches filled with armed guards or our schools filled with armed guards,” Peduto said. “We should try to stop irrational behavior from happening at the forefront.”
Hours after a gunman opened fire at the synagogue Saturday, killing at least 11 people, Trump told reporters that gun control had “little to do” with the attack.

“If there was an armed guard inside the temple, they would have been able to stop him,” the president claimed.

Trump has repeatedly called for arming more people in response to mass shootings. After the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School massacre in Parkland, Florida, on Feb. 14, Trump suggested “giving concealed guns to adept teachers.”

But Peduto on Sunday threw cold water on Trump’s call for more guns in response to mass shootings.

“We shouldn’t be trying to find ways to minimize the dangers that occur from irrational behavior,” he continued. “We should be working to eliminate irrational behavior and the empowerment of people who would seek to cause this type of carnage from continuing.”

He continued: “I think the approach that we need to be looking at is how we take the guns ― which is the common denominator of every mass shooting in America ― out of the hands of those that are looking to express hatred through murder.”

Evil has walked this earth since the beginning of time folks .....Under liberal logic we released the folks that were in the mental wards and into the general population they went. NOT saying this man has a mental condition. but to kill like he did .... I bet you this will be pleaded at his trial......
