Stumbled upon an online auction Friday afternoon (Perry Auctions) which was liquidating guns and ammo (and scopes, some knives, crossbows) so I picked a few items I had interest in and gave it a whirl. I opted to go online since it was in Niagara Falls and really didn't want to drive out there. As luck would have it, I won one of the three of the items, paid with a credit card, and went to pick it up after work. Filled out my NICS paperwork and presto! Gots me a lightly used Browning 7mm mag with scope! Has some scratches on the stock, not in the best of conditions, but with a little clean up should work just fine.
One questions I do have. I went to the Browning website and wasn't able to identify much of anything about the rifle. The serial number stamped on the side of the breach didn't line up with any of the numbering systems offered by Browning. Some were similar, but none that could point to the exact model or year of production. Any help anyone could offer would be appreciated.
Tasco scope also came with a nifty feature. I guess it's called "Dial-A-Kill". You can pick what animal you'd like to take down....depending on your mood that day!
