Aero Precision to produce new bolt gun

Looks cool, like the green color, like the minimalist design.
3 locking lugs, 60° bolt throw, uses Savage type prefit barrels, modular chassis. Didn’t say what magazine it would use, I assume an ACIS pattern.
All seems pretty good to me, can't wait to hear more about it.

I saw it about two weeks ago when Aero reps were in the local gun store for the weekend. As pictured the gun is around 5500 bucks. The magazine is indeed an ACIS pattern. I dropped a bug in their ear for an AR15/ AR308 dpms pattern chassis. They are going to release them complete and barreled actions.

Yeah, that’s too much for an Aero anything lol. You could do a Remington 700 in a very nice MDT chassis and upgrade to a Proof Research barrel for less.

As pictured it had a 1000 dollar carbon fiber barrel vortex scope, and mount/rings. The barreled actions should be around 1200-1500 dollars. The chassis was pretty sweet but I would probably stick with Bell and Carlson for a stock.

Subtract the 1k for the barrel and a generous 2k for barrel, mount and rings we are still at 2.5k for the rilfe, probably more. I was thinking Aero Precision might want to offer a rifle that could compete in the PRS production class. That means sub 2k right? If only just?
Just how good is their action I wonder?
For that kind of money you can just about get into some pretty slick and trick Mausingfield and other similar custom actions.

5.5k including the scope. And honestly their variousl high range Razor HD offerings are very good and very expensive. Doesn't look like a Razor on the rifle though.. maybe it's their space telescope Eagle model.

Yeah, the Razor line is nice. Love my Razor HD Gen III 1-10x on my 13.7”. The cheaper stuff is just what it is, Pretty much budget optics.

The razor gen3 6-36 is a 3k scope by itself so a carbon barrel, quality barreled action and quality chassis at that price it is on par with everything else I have seen.
