Just FYI, a 1/2-28 tap is only a couple dollars. It would be so much easier if someone made a car with 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 threads on the oil filter.
And 12mm threads are ever so slightly smaller than 1/2 inch.
Just saying.

He also didn't like the idea of a threaded exhaust at all. He insisted it should be welded, and walked out mad when wouldn't let him do it his way.Years ago, my father came in the shop while my buddy and I were working on something. He didn't understand why a competition chainsaw needed a performance exhaust. He said just run it without a pipe. It's too loud without a pipe.
At many European ranges, they are mandatory.Suppressors should be recommended, not regulated.
And potatoes.Wait until the AFT discovers oil filters
I know lefty’s account for only 10% but, Don’t forget the 14/1 LH for the commies. It would be so much easier if someone made a car with 1/2-28 or 5/8-24 threads on the oil filter.
Then you were using shit silencers. My Form 1s work quite well on both those calibers. As in, no ear pro needed good.silencers are ok on 9mm, and 300BO AR's,but not so much on .223 or .308.......
F- the commies! Let 'em go deaf!I know lefty’s account for only 10% but, Don’t forget the 14/1 LH for the commies.
C'mon. ...Already done.
There have been people who got visits from the AFT after buying "too many" diesel truck oil filters.
Because we all know the people who use a new filter every 3 months are making silencersAlready done.

My work truck (1989 Peterbilt 379, 3406B Cat motor) has four filters on it. One is the size of a 2 liter bottle. They are changed every 8000 miles, which winds up being pretty frequent when I drive around 1500 miles/week. Farmer business owner believes frequent oil and lube changes are best practice. He’s got other trucks that he keeps on a similar schedule, so his filter inventory is pretty extensive.Because we all know the people who use a new filter every 3 months are making silencers
The truck owners only buy one and it's good for the life of the vehicle, right ?
They sound like they can trap a lot of solvent! My work truck (1989 Peterbilt 379, 3406B Cat motor) has four filters on it. One is the size of a 2 liter bottle. And that’s just one truck… you should see the filter shelf at places that run Mack/Volvo rigs.
You pick a serial number, and wait for the tax stamp before firing up the printer.Solvent trap supressors are lame, usually ancient technology baffles. A supersonic, rifle/FA rated, 3D printed file is being released on Christmas. Wonder how you form 1 a printed supressor?
You missed step one.You pick a serial number, and wait for the tax stamp before firing up the printer.
Not really ancient. They all have baffles. All that fancy stuff you see in many cans today is simply justification to make the prices of silencers astronomical IMO.Solvent trap supressors are lame, usually ancient technology baffles. Nice baffles, I mean expansion chambers, I mean expansion plugs.Just Saying .. They need to just give up
the Genie is out of the Bottle and the Ass Clowns on the street do not follow any LAW ..
ATF should be out of business ..
Nice baffles, I mean expansion chambers, I mean expansion plugs.
This is the video I mentioned early on, thanks for posting it. It’s crazy.
Oh I know what they are. And what they are.they are actually plugs to fill the holes from the sand casting mold that make the motor block
so you can shake the sand out and plug the holes too keep the coolant in the block ..
expansion plugs ,.. freeze plugs .. yeah i know the names ..
