I think some people are missing the point of my post. It is not about whether wearing a piece of cloth with a flag is "Legal" or violates some statute on displaying the flag on clothing. It is the fact that someone would suggest it would make people uncomfortable while allowing BLM attire at the same time. It's about the hypocrisy of the leftists who are now emboldened enough to think they have the right to dictate and enforce their own brand of discriminatory behavior. Yes... In the most technical of terms, wearing an article of clothing with a flag does violate Flag Code and protocol. But what gives the company or any of its employees/contractors the right to tell a private citizen what they can and cannot wear, where this particular issue is concerned? I could see if the guy, a FAM on duty for that matter, was wearing a t-shirt that said something offensive, or there was something on the gaiter that could be truly offensive (I don't know... A set of testicles hanging down or something, maybe a tongue licking a cooch! SOMETHING!)... But a flag... Offensive... really? This gate agent was using their non-existent self proclaimed authority to enforce some leftist personal agenda. That has no place in business. Because I can guarantee if I owned a business and put out a sign that said "NO BLM ATTIRE Permitted" my business would probably be burned to the ground... This goes right along with the leftist leadership at Goodyear having a slide telling employees they cannot wear Blue Lives Matter and MAGA attire while simultaneously saying BLM and LGBT attire is acceptable. They then tried to quantify that statement by saying "it was a ban on attire promoting political organizations", meanwhile BLM IS IN FACT... A political organization... I am just pointing out how the Anti-America movement is now spreading into every aspect of American life. And it is sickening...
My understanding of the flag code is how you treat an actual flag, not something else designed to look like a flag. Articles of clothing with flag emblems are not in violation. If you take an actual flag and wear it or turn it into clothing or something else, that is a violation of the code.
Like so many things in life it’s about respect and opinion. Some people accept the code and support its symbolic intent. Others have a need to demonstrate their independence from symbolism and will disrespect the code/deface a flag at will citing free speech. pick whichever works for you. I personally choose to respect the symbolism and at the same time can let someone else choose not to because I’m an adult.

Yes. The crew and attendants assigned to the flight must be notified as per FAA regulations. This is to ensure they know who is on the flight and who to approach for emergency situations regarding suspicious activity.

If you really believe that a diaper on the face doesn’t capture infected droplets against all medical science, then take it up with medical science, corporate of businesses, and the government. Conduct studies showing that masks do not capture infected droplets and convince them. Go around the country lobbying for people to quit jobs where their employer mandates mask usage.

I’m talking about how viruses are transmitted. Not the lethality of a virus. That’s a whole other discussion.
For example, they are not transmitted by *existing* next to someone.
We know exactly how they are transmitted. Hence the "please cover your cough with your hands, or better yet into an elbow" policy we've had for decades.
That has worked just fine until politically it didn't.

No. Coughing isn’t the only way to transmit a virus. Most don’t cover their mouths when talking. Transmit a regular flu or cold virus, no biggie. We all have gotten it from people not covering their mouth when they talk near you. You get it and beat it. No problem.
This on the other hand is much different.
True. There is much less of a chance of dying from this.
And with this, you get it and there is no problem for the super vast majority as well.
As for the "droplets from talking" hypothesis. Interesting. The science doesn't seem to support it, but it's an interesting theory. If it did "cover your mouth when you talk" would be the mantra of every flu season.

And your claim that this is "settled science" is about as reliable as most other attempts to dismiss an argument with such handwaving.
You like to bring up that masks reduce the distance the droplets you are so obsessed with travel. But that is irrelevant. What matters is how long they float in the air to be inhaled, not how far from the infected person the spot they land on the ground is.
Surely if they were as well studied and effective as you claim there would be at lest one study you could reference with a mask wearing experimental group and a maskless control group demonstrating this ?

I’ve already explained to you numerous times how viruses are transmitted. You’ve even admitted that they are indeed transmitted via respiratory droplets rather than flying by themselves like some of the mopes here think. . I’ve showed you that masks reduce their projection from many feet to inches depending on masks used. I’ve showed you scenarios that if an infected wearing one and at a distance, if droplets do not reach you that otherwise would without a mask, it’s the difference of being infected or not and even admitted to you that no masks will work if you are in someone’s personal space up and close.
But somehow that’s forgotten every few days and it’s Groundhog Day all over again. You focus on one scenario of someone in another’s personal space as if that’s the only factor totally discounting other scenarios when you do keep a distance. It’s laughable coming from you. If you were one of the uneducated ones here, I would understand but that isn’t the case. It’s political with you.

If you are infected wearing a mask that stops your droplets from reaching me 10 ft away when I’m passing by, I will get infected anyway just the same as if you were wearing no mask and projected a cough straight into my direction to be breathed by me. I guess that’s what you want to hear. You’ll get infected no matter what even if droplets do not reach you. Every scenario is the same. Being enclosed in a car with an infected is the exact same as walking by an infected feet away while both are wearing a mask. Walking by an infected feet away with a mask is the exact same as walking by an infected feet away with no mask.

The study tests *transmission rates of the virus*. That's the only thing that counts. It doesn't matter if your mask reduces the virus to 1mm from your face, if it still transmits to other people.
The thing you fail to acknowledge every time you go on for 20 posts with the same faulty logic and then claim victory is that *the distance the virus travels immediately after you exhale doesn't matter*. Because it will hang around in the air, and people move.
If you are doing your social distancing and walking 6 feet behind someone, and they spew a cloud of virus laden "droplets" into the air, does it matter if it's 1 inch in front of their face or 6 feet in front of their face ? You're going to walk into the cloud all the same.
You have this ridiculous model in your head of how this transmits, as if it's all people spitting the virus on each other across a table or something, when in reality it's all about it floating in the air and landing on surfaces we touch.
Then you make wild claims about all the experts and textbooks and everyone else in the world agreeing with you, when clearly there are a large body of them who do not.
If masks worked, it would be obvious by now, since the virus is everywhere, but the masks aren't. If masks were useful, then the virus outbreaks would be concentrated around the places people don't wear them. They aren't.
