AZ has (at least) two definitions of involuntary manslaughter, he was charged with both.

Basically, the DA saying "let's throw everything up against the wall and see what sticks."

I dunno, I think their case is pretty weak.

Note that they are not charging Alec Baldwin the actor. They don't think Alec Baldwin the actor did anything wrong, despite the fact that he was the guy who pointed the gun and pulled the trigger. They are charging Alec Baldwin the producer, basically saying that as a producer, he is responsible for everyone's safety.

That may fly in a civil suit, but I don't think it will pass muster in a criminal one.

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is another story. Ensuring something like this didn't happen was basically her primary duty.

Case isn't weak, and the charges are correctly placed to get some culpability in the matter. Simple rule is he pulled that trigger, regardless of anything else he keeps trying to align blame to. His action resulted in the death of another human being, it's that simple. And he will be found guilty, the real question is what debt will he pay to society for his wrongs! lol... Besides, not many like him anyways :D

It's a conundrum for those Hollywood Libs, if they support him, they have to go against everything they believe in! Oh, the horror!

He DID pull the trigger. Modern handguns do NOT fire by themselves.

More to the point, WHY was he aiming his revolver at a crew member ?

Aimed at a fellow actor, part of the script, and the gun happened to have real ammo in place of blanks, then ok.

But aiming the gun at a Crew Member ?

Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit.

IMHO, this was deliberate murder.

a couple things that everyone should understand

1) the set was ready for a rehearsal, it was a walk through, there was no reason for even having a firearm there. He could have just used his fingers

2) Halyna Hutchins, was also working on a different movie about Hollywood elites and pedophilia. Oddly, So was Ann Heche? Now both are dead?

take that for whats its worth? Personally, put yourself, as a responsible firearm owner, in Baldwins place. **WE** KNOW all the safety rules, Baldwin is a elite douchebag that knows nothing about firearms.

I would also like to point out, that other movie sets, such as John Wick, fires off thousands of rounds, using a couple dozen different firearms and NO ONE gets shot.

There are a lot of recalls for modern handguns that disagree with your assertion.

I agree with your overall point (this gun did not fire by itself), but the simple fact is that a non-zero number of modern handguns have fired by themselves in one way or another. It may be exceedingly rare, but it is not zero.

IF THIS IS TRUE, she should have walked away from the set. its my understanding that two other union teams left the set because of safety concerns. Baldwin is an arrogant douchebag. Like I said earlier, this was rehearsal, there was no need for any type of firearm on the set at that time. And if she asked for more training and was denied, I my mind, this falls squarely on the person in charge, Alex Baldwin
