Its being reported that it was a Pietta knockoff of a Colt. I do not know if they have modernized the design to incorporate a transfer bar for the hammer. If not, a ND could occur if there was a live round in the chamber and the hammer bounced while he was practicing his draw. Either way its pure negligence.Stop, the gun did not fire on its own; he pulled the hammer (single action) then pulled the trigger (single or double action).
