Yep! Politicans dont give a shit! They realize the Courts are on their side. No repercussions for their so called rulings/laws. We are on our own. Have been for some time now. Freedom was nice for a while.

I don’t want to be overreaching but lately seems like government and politicians can just shit on the U.S constitution. Some people believe that gun stores aren’t essential. When this virus blow over why not just make a federal law to make them essential so no state or local government can close them down.

They are. It's more and more commonplace that at the drop of a hat the constitution goes out the window.

The constitution was written SPECIFICALLY for the harsh times. You don't need the protections in the good times.

You need to object to these government thugs at EVERY step. NEVER, and I mean NEVER should "Well, we are in hard times, so we need to ignore X and Y right now" be an acceptable stance.

You can NOT support the government shutting down even one business. You can NOT support the government seizing even one bit of property. You simply can NOT tolerate it.

People in NY should know this.

I understand and and agree but not everyone know “hey what NYS GOV is doing is in fact illegal.” People actually think the government knows what’s best. Why aren’t federal court arresting these politicians? Serving them warrants? Threatening them with law suits?

Because unfortunately the same people that decree "FAKE NEWS" are the ones that slurp up everything the MSM tells them in these "rough times" and actually defend the government during these times.

I always pride myself in keeping my emotions out of the topics, and people call me a sociopath and uncaring because of it, but in reality it is because the actual objective stances I hold, that were correct before the panic, remain correct even when tested in these times.

I’d like to take it a step further and abolish business licenses, see now how something benign is being abused by our government? I wouldn’t want to use slippery slope cause apparently that’s a fantasy that doesn’t happen.

So why are states making unconstitutional laws *cough unSafe Act* *cough CaNt CaRrY iN NyC* not why but how are government officials standing by this or supporting this saying well it doesn’t violate the second amendment. The fuck?

That’s coming pretty soon. Some police departments already saying “we are not responding to certain crimes.” The people who want to shut down gun stores or are in favor of “Gun control” what ever that is don’t live in high crime areas or violent crime areas. More government means less rights and more corruption. Am I the only one who actually cares about the constitution?

Obviously there is a reason they have been trying to disarm the population . It isn't because of the number of deaths involving ""assault weapons""

For what ever reasons , they are fearful of civil unrest, and loss of control .

We knew this day would come. Today we were called by an investigator from Gov. Cuomo's Executive Order Task Force who ORDERED us to close, under threat of losing our business license and NY Dealer's license.
Trust me, I want to fight this, and there will be a day where we do, but for now we need to go home, hug our loved ones and take some time to regroup.
Thank you for all of your love and support.
Anything that has been ordered and is on its way CANNOT be picked up, we have no choice but to close entirely. We cannot open by appointment either.
We ask that no more online shipments be sent here, we cannot have staff here to receive them.
