Ammo availability!

Hey Folks how's the ammo availability where you're at. I have been noticing that the supply down here has all of a sudden (since late last fall!) got better. Especially the rimfire ammo. I've seen 22lr's, and 22 mags everywhere. Pricing is coming down also. I've seen 22lr selling for right at .05/round for Remington (I know it's shit ammo, but is fine for my revolvers and lever actions!) to .06/round for Federal Automatch. I also have seen 22 mags going for right at .20/round.

I've even seen the Remington Bucket O Bullets available at WM for $73/bucket. Maybe we've seen the end of the silliness that was the "fabricated" ammo shortage.

Oh, yea.... for all the fucks out there who bought up all you could find so you could stick it in someone else's ass by gouging; FUCK YOU, I hope you eat those rounds!! Just sayin'!

.06/ round for Federal Automatch isn't all that bad at all. Maybe,if we're lucky,we'll see it come down another cent or two. I doubt it, but hey, you never know.

While brick and mortar prices are still all out of whack, the availability is decent. I see .22 everywhere.

Availability has gotten a lot better but they are still asking around .10 per for decent quality 22 around here. Now I'm buying just what I need and trying to stock up when I see a sale.

I've still been buying a brick here and there. Last panic I had no money before hand for, well anything really. Now I am determined build up at least a modest stash of ammo to carry me though the next panic. Besides, as infuriating as it is, I think the $40 brick is the new normal. Weird thing is the the good stuff isn't really any more expensive. Why buy a brick of Golden Bullets or Thunderbolt if CCI mini mags are about the same? Thats typically what I'll buy, mini mags by the sleeve or a 300 pack of the CCI "AR Tactical". But if I ever come across a Golden Bucket o' Bullets I'll proly pop for it.

I bought the Bucket o' Bullets because the price made sense, and I shoot them in my revolver, bolt actions, and lever rifles. I save the better stuff I have for running through the autoloaders. This system works for me. I'm not trying to punch a single hole at 100 yards, just have some fun at the range. It sounds like things are starting to loosen up a bit, and the $30-$35/brick may be the new norm. I'm not happy about that, but in all fairness, everything has gone up as well.

Online prices for .223/5.56 and 9mm have come down since Trump's win. (do my ammo shopping online and pick it up at 2nd home out of this state)
I have no problem getting .22lr at local Dick's sporting (F$%ck Wal-Mart, I'm done trying with them). Still pricey compare too pre Obama era.

I still don't understand why .22lr prices haven't dropped more. Really no need for hoarding anymore - IMO

Had a good buy today. Dicks sporting had a grand opening today in my town. I received a $10 off $25plus coupon in the mail tues.
So, I picked up a box of 525rds of Remington copper plated .22lr. It was already on sale for $27.98 (compared to $35). Including tax, (30.39-10) $20.39/525 = .0388/rd

If I keep getting coupons, I'll keep stocking up on .22lr. I Refuse to pay .06/rd for .22
