PSA will not update their shipping methods to reflect the laws of the state that you live in. I had the same issue with them a while ago and they refuse to change their policy. I even sent them a coy of the NYS laws surrounding this issue. They don't care to change things. Out of state shipping it is and will be for 'certain' items to trusted individuals.
I just stick with the few online e-tailers who send to my door.
But most of my ammo comes from local shops.
The only one I buy from online anymore is Underwood....they have great ammo and its not that expensive......and they send to your door.

While I agree with you, They will "ask their lawyers". Lawyers will never give you a yes or no answer. They will also never give you an answer that gives you permission to do anything.
It is kind of like asking you if it is okay if I point an unloaded 1911 at someone for training if I am 100% sure it is unloaded.

Thanks, I was having a mental block and could not remember TS. I have cash sitting in an investment account losing money due to inflation so instead of re-investing in stocks, I just joined their prime program and placed a nice order. This will be target ammo at my club as our shooting season is fast approaching.

Looked at TS and others this morning. How is it that self defense ammo is at pre-covid prices but FMJ is 3 to 4 times what it was?

Target ammo has unfortunately been creeping back up.
is is how it was at the start of the pandemic as well. I bought more self-defense rounds last year than I have in 5 years past because it was almost equivalent in price. I’m not sorry. I bought more mags and stuffed them all. I have nearly as much self defense .45acp as I do target rounds.

I'd assume its due to everyone restocking severely depleted range ammo stores while at the same time having held on to the good stuff like it was gold. I know I was loathe to spend of any of my dwindling supply of -rare as hens teeth- 223 Gold Dots when I had to zero a new red dot. Fortunately I got 'er done in 9 rounds.

Maybe because their pre-covid 39.99 JHP MSRP was routinely listed on sale for 19.99 several times per year or with generous rebates (New Years, Valentines / Presidents, St Patricks / Spring, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Veterans Day / Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas) so it's still twice as expensive.
