I know it was the weekend. Nothing there but some odd ball riffle calibers, tungsten turkey loads, and 28 gauge shotty shells.I've checked cabela's maybe 5 times the past month or 2, this has been my luck 4 out of 5 visits there. On one visit I was able to grab 100 of 5.56 62gr
Holy amazeballs. Some online retailers wanted $0.40/round last week. I just laughed and clicked off the page
I was paying under $2.50 out the door per brick of 50 at gander outdoors last year.Holy amazeballs.
I can pay off the mortgage....
I just stopped in myself. I was surprised at how full the shelves were. Quite a bit of 5.56 green tip and 223, some 9mm, 338 lapua magnum, 50AE, and most surprising of all a bunch of 300 black out. I also saw 2 big boxes of 10mm. I also took a look at the the pistol selection and was surprised that they had almost a full assortment of pistols in stock.Just left Cabela’s. Lots of 5.56 150 round packs and 20 round packs. 223 also. Lots of 9mm defense ammo boxes of 20. It’s Federal Syntech. I got some .380 Critical defense for a friend and some .308. I think they had some 9mm critical defense too. Also .45 defense type ammo. 30-06 and many others.
Oh shit I never even went to see the gun case when I was there. Last week it was pretty empty. I saw those 2 big boxes of 10mm also. If only I could find the 10mm 1911 I've been wanting to buy.I just stopped in myself. I was surprised at how full the shelves were. Same here. I’ve noticed that during this gun craze panic that 10mm and 6.5 creedmoor have more or less remained available (at higher pandemic pricing). I’d like to add a 10mm but haven’t found one yet. In the pistol case they had the usual assortment of kimbers but they also had some smith and Wesson and ruger semi autos, but also a Glock 17 gen 5, a camo colored sig P226(I think) a beretta 92, an FN and a couple of various revolvers.Oh shit I never even went to see the gun case when I was there. How much was the 50BMG ammo? They had 50BMG and 50AE there today. I suspect those will not be hot sellers.

I also wanted to add that the 5.56 green tip was roughly 50 cents a round compared to pre pandemic pricing of 34-38 cents a round. Two weeks ago it was 70 cents a round. Makes me wonder if the supply chain is starting to catch up.
There was a couple 150 round boxes of federal on the bottom right shelf for 50 cents a round. On the middle and left there was Winchester 150 round packs for 59 cents a round and then 20 round boxes of Winchester for 54 cents a round.$.50 where did you see that? Was .55 & .60 plus tax.
Stopped at Cowbella's after work. Talked myself into 5 boxes of the Winchester .556. Saw the $ 108.00 .338 Lapua's. Even though I have one, I'm not shoving $ 5.00 bills into the chamber.I just stopped in myself. I was surprised at how full the shelves were. Same here. I have plenty of 338 for my needs right now, I can wait until I find the PPU 250 grain for $50-60 a box of 20.Stopped at Cowbella's after work.
